It seems that thread is closed? Sorry... late again. But since I am still fairly new to this, I wanted to research the issues a little more thoroughly before replying. You all raised a lot of good points over there. But I voted for Nov. 9, simply because: 1. According to this beatles.murashev.com/history/1966.htmthe awards date was Sept. 19th...? that would have given them all of a few days to come up with a replacement. 2. "tuesday afternoon is neverending" I'll bet it WAS...! I'm sure "tuesday afternoon" spilled over into "wednesday morning", and that nobody got much, if any, sleep that night. 3. Nov. 8 was a Tuesday, making Nov. 9 a Wednesday. Here's a quick date calculator: dugwaycat.bravehost.com/born%20on%20what%20day.htmlCan be used for death, as well as birth, or anything else you fancy... 4. The notorious number 9 also applies here. I think it was onlooker or someone like that that found information that the Melody Maker awards were actually held the weekend of September 9, 10 & 11, 1966. That's Friday, Saturday & Sunday respectively. I think xpt has that information also. Most of the events listed as the 'official' Beatles happenings in the fall of 1966 are false imo. The way I see it is he was in the car wreck on September 11, offically died on September 12 and his body was discovered on Tuesday the 13th or the following Tuesday the 20th. 'Stupid Bloody Tuesday' is when they found his body imo. An awful day for John and the Beatles in general. If you look at the "Free As A Bird" video there is a scene featuring Eleanor Rigby's grave and the date on it is "12 Sept" and there is also an image of a left handed guitarist on the grave. Here is the post Jojo made: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=Clues&action=display&thread=1100370413If you think about it, November 9 to December 20, when Bill made his first appearance, is not nearly enough time to find a replacement. Unless you had the replacement waiting, which is doubtful, and got the necessary plastic surgery done AND had it all heal in 41 days! That seems unlikely. The way the British spell their dates out is the day first, then the month then the year whereas in America we do it with the month first. The Beatles were a British band so it seems more like the date on the Sgt. Pepper drum was September 11. 11(day) 9(September) He Die Regarding "Number 9", possibly they were referring to the numerological meaning of the number 9 which means the ending of things, i.e. death. Also Paul's numerological birth number is 9, June 18, 1 + 8=9. Did I convince you?

Have there been ANY pictures of Paul/Faul taken October '66? Good question, and the answer would appear to be no, at least I see none attributed to that time. The Africa pics were in November, correct? I just bought another "timeline" book, and I haven't had a chance to look it over, but the first thing I checked was this period, sept-dec 1966. Much like many timeline reports, it seems like Paul disappeared for a while, at least there were no public appearances, till that interview on the street in December.

October '66 seems to be the black hole.
41 days is a bit fast for healing, although I doubt they had much more than that before the Dec. 20 appearance.
And why does George run away from the interviewers? He turns back with a "No!" which seems to carry the feeling of, "Leave me alone; go away ".....
Sylvie, Brian, JP, are 3 deaths that, for reasons for which are hidden (like the greatest secret of all time) from this generation that grew up through it. We can not know of it; we can not know of it. What is so dark, so secretive? We will never know, I think.

...Sylvie, Brian, JP, are 3 deaths that... Doc, I've read the Sylvie theory, and I'm just not sure on that one. I can't tell if the photos are of different ladies or not. The Brian thing -- which is hardly ever discussed -- is also very curious. There doesn't seem to be much info available, or many materials for comparison purposes. But after seeing Brian "live" on Hullabaloo and on What's My Line; I have a hard time seeing the "Frian" photo as the same man. The man in that photo looks sort of "Mediterranean" (for lack of a better description), and more "worldly", or "weathered" than Brian did. And "stockier". Brian appeared to be a smaller man. Brian came across (on film) as a very pleasant and personable fellow. Someone you would feel comfortable around instantly. The "Frian" photo just doesn't "read" as the same man.
