Could be JPM's mangled face! Before, I think I was looking at the trees before the forest, but if you look at the forest... Also, now that I look again, it looks like there's a smaller figure inbetween John and George, behind the snakelike creature.

This design was sold in the London collector's shop Rock On in 1973 as one of the original designs for what became the 'White Album'. If you'll look, it features the Beatles in Mount Rushmore style. Behind Ringo's head is a lighthaired female (Sylvie or Jane?) with a seahorse between them and an imp in Ringo's hair. Between Ringo and Faul is an image which I can't really make out? Faul, John, and George--there's what looks like a caterpiller or some type of serpent crawling up George's cheek. Then there's the lighthouse atop the cliff, the seagull, the ship sailing between ice-bergs (or islands), and the beach. Could those objects in the water there be oysters? Oyster shells? Headed for the shore where they will be eaten. A sheer cliff face billboard of the Beatles, luring the oysters ashore? I am looking for the carpenter and the walrus.
