This is an interestink link to read The recording of "Revolver" began in early April, 1966. "Paperback Writer" was recorded on April 14th. If those people that were digging up the "Paul Is Dead" clues had placed his death between November 11th, 1965 (the final "Rubber Soul" session) and April 6th, 1966, I'd probably have trouble disbelieving them. "PAPERBACK WRITER" And why? Because it's a whole new bass player who emerged on June 10th, the day "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" was released as a single. abbeyrd.best.vwh.net/paulbass.htm

I thought Rubber Soul had been later than November 1965....hmmmInteresting to note the dates.
But I do have to wonder about dates given as to when certain music was recorded, pre 1966 or after...because of the information agents trying to re-write historical accounts to alter the information trying to cover up PID. Being that it was so long ago now, many people may not argue when certain dates appear. So I am careful to believe dates of recording sessions, and when these accounts were supposedly written.

I have to agree with Rita. If Paul's music was different, it was because he was evolving as a musician. I read somewhere that when Bill recorded one of his albums, he hired some studio musicians. He had Wings & them record together. Supposedly, his bass pieces were recorded at a different time ! If this was early enough in his solo career, it could've been someone else who played the bass riffs on those songs. Klaus Voorman perhaps ?
