You're looking at one of the biggest PIAers there is, but that doesn't mean we can't all get along

First, welcome Paulrus! Just a guesstimate, but of the regular posters, the majority at least believe Paul was replaced. There are a few who don't, they don't hide that fact.

Paul died in September '66 from most likely a car accident. Was replaced by December '66.

I believe Paul is alive. But the folks here are cool regardless of PID-PWR-PIA beliefs.

Accuse me of comming late to the party. But reading as many posts as I have in the last few days, I'm forced to see a third possibility that, frankly, never occured to me before. Aside from the obvious two, the thought of a third senario is somewhat interesting. They are:
1.) Paul is alive 2.) Paul is dead and as a result replaced. And: 3.) Paul is alive, but for whatever reason (possibly some debilitation due the accident) he was replaced.
I would like to hear some thoughts...

...thought of a third senario is somewhat interesting. ......Paul is alive, but for whatever reason (possibly some debilitation due the accident) he was replaced. I would like to hear some thoughts... I think Scatterdome had a theory along those lines. It was hard for me to follow, though, so I don't know the details. Anything's possible, but the "musical clues" seem to all reference death.... I'm sure someone with more (Beatle) historical knowledge will offer comments on your theory.

It would be interesting if, Paul was in an accident, A double was brought in to replace him. Paul was scooted to a farm (where Faul also stayed) And they had "how to be a Paul" school taught there. That would make an interesting story.

I think the "stand-in" theory would answer alot of questions. Who better to prep the imposter than the genuine article? It would also answer the question why no one has come forward to debunk or verify the truth behind the mystery. It would be easier to convince the "inner circle" to not reveal the truth if they believed they were aiding the "dibilitated" Paul rather than propigating an out-and-out lie.

also, a living man has a living voice, that could record.....
And, a living man can, who's not copletely impaired, can personally authorize goings-on that apply to him legally........
A living man can say yes or no, approve or disapprove.
A living man might write new songs.
All providing he is conscious, willing, lucid, and not neurologically limited.
I'd prefer to think Paul continued to live.
When was Strawberry Fields recorded?

I'm one of the ones who think Paul was replaced, but he didn't have to die for a replacement to occur. I think he was unhappy with the no-hear, let's-not-practice attitude on tour and quit. They simply found an impersonator and slapped Paul's name on him.
