(... just kidding... ;D ) Let's see, I'd suggest maybe T.Rex "Electric Warrior", or Blue Cheer "Outsideinside" or somethin' by The Seeds or The Gants. There's an old music discussion thread in OT that hasn't been used in a year or 2. invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=offtopic&action=display&thread=1122076058

Can't help you with the gibberish, but there are lots of '60's groups that I like, having grown up with them. Always liked the Byrds. ;D But if there's one album you simply MUST have, it's "Days of Future Passed" by the Moody Blues, imo. It's not really rock, and the orchestration (yes, orchestration) is vintage 1960's, so it may take some getting used to, but it's a classic. And then there's "The Legend of the Uss Titanic" for laughs. I forget who does it. And ELO's "Roll Over Bethoven", but that's from the 1970s.

There were alot of Bluesy groups that my oldest brother was into like John Mayall and ALexis Korner ( I hope I spelled that right) that many of the rock icons came from like Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor....
The Yardbirds was an interesting group that was the precursor to Led Zeppelin...Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page played guitar at various states of this group's history.
The Animals were also an interesting British band that was quite different from the Beatles...or the Mersey Sound...
