Whilst I've been unpacking from the very annoying house move we just had.. I was listening to Rubber Soul today then I put the white album on, and it really occured to me how VERY different the two voices are. Bill's voice is a whole octave higher! I know, this isn't new news or anything, but it really sunk in today just how obvious it all is!

Yes, unlike with Pepper and MMT, they weren't working as hard to disguise the voice-change by then.

What's weird is how different Paul's voice sounds on Your Mother Should Know compared to, say, Hello Goodbye on MMT.

Yeah, Your Mother Should Know is really out place on MMT, just because the style is more Rubber Soul/Revolver than it was the MMT era. And the voice... that voice isn't the same as Hello, Goodbye. Listen to the alternate take on the Anthology albums, and Paul speaks a bit at the beginning (imitating George Martin giving them direction). It's clear that it's a deeper voice than what we're used to with Bill.

..and the Liverpool accent is still present in JPM's voice in most of his songs. It's mostly absent in Bill's vocals, only to appear strongly on a few words or syllables here and there.

Don't forget that high note at the end of Lady Madonna, JPM could never have hit that high of octave.

I agree on all points. Bill's voice is higher than Paul's. Paul's speaking voice is even more distinct. To me, he sounds like a young Sean Connery

The voiceprints of JPM and Sheppard/ other Faul vocal fakers are different. The voiceprint identifications prove that it is not JPM singing and can determine when Sheppard or Denny Laine or someone else is doing the vocal impostering.

Bill attempts a more regal accent when he speaks, where JPM had more of a "throaty" voice.
