I remember reading about this a year or two ago. Supposedly there is something significant about the image above their heads. Does anyone have any more info on it, or a possible better shot of the picture above them?

Is it just me or does it look like a church?

Someone had suggested that the area depicted was Paul's burial site. Also there was a thread (maybe at TKIN) about all kinds of bizaare imagery a person could find by holding a mirror to photos of the area in question, which, as I recall, was the land at Strawberry Fields.

Maybe it's a synagogue, since John looks like a Rabbi in that pic.

Maybe it's a synagogue, since John looks like a Rabbi in that pic. Several days ago I thought about John looking like a rabbi in that photo shoot, in relation to the title "Hey Jude" ("Jude" = German for "Jew" and Jews were forced by the Nazis to constantly wear yellow stars with the word "Jude" on it ). And, as I've said here before, one of the white busts in that Hey Jude photo shoot, the same "young man" bust on the ground in the Sgt. Pepper cover, appears to be the face of William Patrick Hitler, born in Liverpool, moved permanently to America (NYC/Long Island), and the half-nephew of former Liverpool resident Adolf Hitler. See the Hitler Liverpool Relatives thread: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1132124135&page=2William Patrick Hitler, Age 18 i55.photobucket.com/albums/g134/antiKitano/Pepper27s_reflection.jpg[/img]The Bill Hitler statue has a bulge resembling a third eye on his forehead, as does the picture of Nazi-friendly psychologist and mystic Karl Jung in the top row of the Sgt. Pepper cover. The hat that John/Fohn is wearing was put up for auction (see below). This was the Beatles' "last official photo shoot" and occured in August 1969. It was shot at Tittenhurst Park, Lennon's estate and house. The "stone figure" busts, including the Bill Hitler-looking one, also appear with Lennon and WWII war criminal daughter Yoko Ono in the film "Imagine" when the couple walk over to the entrance of the Tittenhurst mansion. www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/publi...192302-5-1.jpgJohn Lennon: a hat worn for the last official Beatles photo shoot, 1969, black felt, outer band decorated with six metal discs with arrow and dot motif, inner band stamped Stelzig's Roper 5 XXXXX Quality and Stelzig's Saddlery Co. Houston, Texas, sold with two publicity photographs and a statement of provenance, in modern hatbox Estimate: £15,000 - 20,000 Footnote: The statement confirms this was borrowed by John from Mal Evans. It was worn on various occasions, including the photo-shoot and sequences for the later 'Imagine' film. It was Mal's widow, Lily, who added the purple band which is seen in numerous photographs from the period. This is now missing but the outer band still bears the pinholes where it was attached. The last official photo shoot for the Beatles took place at Tittenhurst Park on Friday 22nd August 1969, two days after their final recording session. Photographers present were Ethan Russell, Monty Fresco (from the Daily Mail) and Mal Evans. Several of Ethan Russell's pictures were later used for the cover of the compilation album 'Hey Jude', issued in early 1970. The shoot is described in detail in 'The Beatles London', Piet Schreuders, Mark Lewisohn, Adam Smith, Publ. Hamlyn, 1994, pps.100-102.
