This is just my opinion and I know it is a ballsy claim but think about the evidence.
Lets start the way we normally look for clues; Lyrics...
This song Nobody Know's is track #5 on McCartney II, Remember Bill had previously been imprisoned in Japan, and lets not joke here, if you have read Fred Seaman's book then you should know that John and Yoko where behind it, Yoko told John she put a spell on Bill and Linda to get them arrested but she probably just used her Japanese connections..... And you'd have to take Bill as a total putz to think that he didn't put 2 and 2 together on this one....
He obviously wanted vengeance.......

Ok, lets look at the smoking gun here, John was attacked, George was attacked, and now Heather Mills fears that she too will be killed, she knows something about Bill, she knows that a man with that kind of money can do anything he wants, she may be the key to the police catching Bill.......
