i have read so many different books and what not about who wrote what and they all contradict themselves. I don't believe anything Faul says about it, because how the crap would he know.. and John.. well he's a trixxy liar:
PLAYBOY: When you talk about working together on a single lyric like "We Can Work It Out," it suggests that you and Paul worked a lot more closely than you've admitted in the past. Haven't you said that you wrote most of your songs separately, despite putting both of your names on them?
LENNON: Yeah, I was lying. [Laughs] It was when I felt resentful, so I felt that we did everything apart. But, actually, a lot of the songs we did eyeball to eyeball.

I've learned to just throw out most "beatle history" that's out there. I mean, they didn't quit touring because the crowds were too loud & the music too complicated... I can't believe everybody bought that one. etc, etc, etc.
And yer right about Faul & John. Just because one of them sez something in an interview doesn't mean anything.
As far as a specific answer to yer question.... I don't have it, but I figure that if ya know their writing styles, ya can guess as to how it was written...... together or (mostly)seperate.
This is kinda like a Beatle fan forum here for me. Just try talking "real" Beatle history is a regular Beatle forum. As soon as ya bring up Beatle Bill or anything about that... yer outta there!! Most Beatle fans will not accept this, but most "beatles history & facts" put out there are false.

I seem to remember George Martin saying that they competed with each other to write songs. The impression I get from that and other writings is that by and large they wrote seperately, with the occasional contribution to each other's songs. But of course "writing" is not all there is to it, when they played together in the studio, Paul would put his indelible stamp on the bass line, George with his unique guitar playing, etc. So, it's a group effort in the end.
