Recently I decided to see what all the fuss was about with this Bob Marley guy (I've never really listened to him). I wondered if there was a PID link, seeing as how both John Lennon AND Eric Clapton were pretty big fans of Marley (and of course, Marley would soon join Lennon, Hendrix, Morrison, and co in 1981 when he would die of cancer, thus becoming another "image" to be plastered on college posters and t-shirts) The only song I recognized by him was One Love, so I pulled up the video on Youtube... and guess who was staring me in the face, devil horns and all! youtube.com/watch?v=uteBX4_wxXkat 1:21

Well, it's still weird to me... This guy and his hand symbols popping up no matter where I go.... It's like "ugh... Bob Marley too?! IS NO ONE SAFE?!" well as far as i can tell, almost anyone in the public eye is plausibly 'one of them'. its almost their entire raison d'etre. role models for the public controlled by the same people we keep seeing throughout RA and all over this board. i don't want to restrict the description to 'masons', but whatever it is that holds the real power... you know what i mean im rambling [sobers up] there is a close correlation between potheads and bob marley fans i find ;D yeah, just like you! yes, just like me in the words of grace slick... "...There are millions of you now I mean it's not as if you were alone There are brothers everywhere Just waiting for a toke on that gold And God knows how far it can go"... you know the rest ;D

I wonder if Sir. Paul isn't giving us or somebody the signal.... Marley DID die not too long after.
I would never appear in a video or a picture with him at least... Chances of death skyrocket afterwards lol

it was the 80's a lot of men wore preppy clothes like that, your never going to see him wearing leather pants like mick jagger weren't the beatles a bit washed down, I mean rock and roll wise the recipe was watered down when beatle soup was created.

Paul wanted to be Elvis. He was a pure rock'n'roller. His music and attitude reflected that. That ponce above is not PMC. Elvis wouldn't shy away from leather pants even today. Look at "Ned" ;D above; there's not even a nod to his rock'n'roll roots. Marley was adopted by many punks, post-punks, goths and skinheads as their guru - believe it or not.

In the early days they were leather wearing lads, but when they where "groomed for sucess" they had a nicer image. I know Faul has a "wide gate" no need to convince me of that!

If memory serves me right, that Bob Marley wrote some controversial songs in Jamaica and that threatened their govt... or something that put him in the wrong side...
something to the effect that when he got cancer, it was a suspicious injection of cancer he received because of his controversial life.

Bill and Linda used to spend a lot of time in Jamaica, not surprising that Bob and he were friendly.

Wasn't his cancer development due to an old football injury? If memory serves, I believe reading that he would have easily survived the cancer had he sought immediate medical treatment (He did not due to his Rastafarian religion). Sadly, by the time he did seek medical help it was too late... ... Very sad, Bob's music touched me in a profound when I was a teen. Looks like I'll have to dig up Catch a Fire and Burnin'...

That is correct - well that's how the story goes anyway. He broke his toe playing soccer on the beach in Miami and didn't have it seen to. That cancer should follow is questionable, but who knows. And weren't Faul and Linda caught with a big bag of weed going to Japan? One thing struck me the other night --- Blood Type!! I wonder if there is any way of getting hold of that info!! Paul, if it was Paul, that had the motorbike accident would have been tested..... Spent a few weeks in Ja myself, many moons ago. The weed is delicious. The music is frightening. Hear it waft across the corn fields from giant PA systems five miles away, crickets and young girls running around half naked.

"He broke his toe playing soccer on the beach in Miami and didn't have it seen to. That cancer should follow is questionable, but who knows."
Questionable?
Bloody hell if he got cancer from breaking a toe playing football then I must be dying as we speak!
The number of injuries I've had playing football pretty much makes that supposition complete and utter bollocks!
Wayne Rooney must be in stage 3 or 4 now because his toe (metatarsal) has been broken 3 times!
DISCLAIMER: I'm not having a go at anyone, but surely we must all realise that a broken toe cannot possibly cause cancer!

Just toe main poisoning. That's a classic... Toe..much monkey business.. I have to agree, I've never heard of a broken toe or toe injury that lead to cancer..... But if you're on the wrong side....there's a funny way of things happening to people...
