I am not going to go into it now, but I was amazing a friend at how almost everthing he and I like, had been talking about and just all sorts of stuff was connected to The Beatles in some way or another. Take for example, I will admit now, I like the band Tenacious D. I know that they can be vulgar at times but if you really listen to the acoustic playing it is just brilliant. I found out that Kyle Gass, the guitarist, graduated from Juliard School of Music at age 13 with a degree in classical guitar. If you dont believe me at how good he is, download "classico" (ignore the cuss words and listen to the guitar!) Anywho, I got to reading up on them, they have a movie out now, directed by Liam Lynch. Lynch also plays on some of their songs. Come to find out, Lynch was one of 40 musicians chosen from around the world to study at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. This school, founded and financially supported by Sir Paul McCartney, gave Lynch the opportunity of a lifetime. He was part of the school's first graduating class, but also one in five students handpicked by McCartney himself to study guitar on a one-on-one basis. Later, Lynch worked in various recording studios with Beatles producer George Martin and befriended ex-Roxy Music synth player/famed producer Brian Eno after several of his lectures.www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:8m821v03zzca~T1Werid huh? Oh and if any of you listen to Tenacious D and can tell me where they get their acoustic-folk style from I would really appreciate it, I know I have heard it before but I cant figure out where!

I've always been under the impression that Sir Paul's strong suit was the piano. He would be the last person that I would expect to be teaching the guitar. [img src="http://galeon.hispavista.com/akostuff/img/Dunno2[1].gif"]
