I have had a very strange experience. I have a Yahoo email account and keep my emails in folders, I emailed myself the link to this board so I can access it easily instead of going to Google. When I click on that email I get this message: "We didn't understand your request. The request sent by your browser was missing some information. Please try again. If the problem persists, we suggest that you close all browser windows, relaunch your browser, and log into Yahoo! Mail again. If you still have problems, please contact Yahoo! Mail Customer Care." I can go to each of my other emails, not that one, I use public computers. Very strange. I just contacted customer service. Has something similar happened to anyone else? I've been on Yahoo for 8 years without that occurring. Wierd.......especially since the link had to do with PID! ;D

sounds like a problem from yahoo. we cannot block one email message and if you were blocked you wouldn't be here asking questions that have nothing to do with us.
whether you believe PID or not has nothing to do with your yahoo email folder and why you felt the need to include it in your message i have no idea.

Jonna, I meant no offense, I just thought it was very strange. I know this board had nothing to do with me being blocked. I don't want to sound paranoid, I know it is probably just a coincidence but it is a very wierd one. Felt I had to comment.
Every other email I've ever had on Yahoo works and I've never gotten that message before. And it does have something to do with PID.......

how does it have anything to do with PID other than the link being in your yahoo mail?
if your are paranoid about it and feel that PID is the reason or at fault maybe you should reconsider about coming here.
i will gladly give you the link to the new funhouse

Of course I am not paranoid about PID, just thought that thing very wierd and that is all, worthy of comment. I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on this. If this post bothers anyone I'll take it down, I love being here.

this post doesn't bother me at all. if all you want is feedback to know if its happening to anyone else thats fine. maybe you should have worded it that way rather than assume that we can read minds.
your first post makes it look like its our problem, even the title assumes it was our fault since you said 'explain'

I'm sorry, I just thought it looked very unusual and I wanted people's two cents on it, it had never happened to me before, and while it probably had nothing to do with PID it is still quite a coincidence. Of course the board wasn't at fault. To anyone who had a Yahoo account has anything similar happened to you? Doesn't have to do with PID of course.
Just modified that post too by the way. ;D

Jerri, you may not be aware that yahoo has a free bookmark service that you can access from any computer's browser at bookmarks.yahoo.com. You could keep all your book marks there and access them from anywhere. It's a lot more convenient than emailing them.

I use the library's computer, almost wonder if the library server blocked access to PID as it is "offensive," they block all sorts of stuff, but I'm at the library now and the link worked. Go figure. I'll look into the bookmark thing.

almost wonder if the library server blocked access to PID as it is "offensive," I doubt that. But you never know, anything is possible.
