I found out that Paul visited a tavern in Truckee, Calif (my home state), and jammed with the house band, writing a song on the spot (again showing, if he is "William," he probably doesn't need ghostwriting.)
What on earth was he doing there?

I was at the Hard Rock Cafe in South Lake Tahoe and there was a right handed guitar on the wall with "Paul McCartney" name plaque underneath it. If I had a camera, I would have taken a picture of it. The best I can do is this a link to HRC--see "Seating" and rotate the picture to the red guitar over the fire place. That's it! By the way, on the wall, just left of the guitar, there's John Lennon memorabilia. As well as more Beatles stuff on the far wall opposite the guitar. www.hardrock.com/locations/cafes/Cafe360.aspx?Lc=TAHO&CafeIndex=/300/tour/2116/index.html

I sat in a booth where they had a letter from Stu to someone back home.. talking about how he was leaving the band to go to art school, it was hard to read, but it had the whole John Lennon romeo and his great stallwarts Paul and George. And there was a Paul McCartney purple long jacket, George's jacket from MMT, John Lennon's brown jacket from the cover of Rubber Soul, a peice of the cavern club stage, autographs, old beatles monthly's, a harmonica, etc.. when I go back I'll be sure to take a camera.
