www.thaindian.com/newsportal/entertainment/macca-and-former-wings-band-mate-denny-bury-the-hatchet_10011182.htmlMacca and former Wings band mate Denny bury the hatchet?January 3rd, 2008 Washington , Jan 3 (ANI): It seems that former Wings bandmates Sir Paul McCartney and Denny Laine have buried the hatchet and rekindled their 30-year-old friendship. Laine, who was the lead-vocalist of classic sixties Moody Blues hit Go Now and the founder of Wings with Macca in the seventies, posted a picture on his Myspace internet page with the former Beatle star. The picture of the re-united pair, who co-wrote the smash hit Mull Of Kintyre, was reportedly taken last month backstage at a UB40 concert at London s Wembley Arena. The pair fell out when Wings tour of Japan in January 1980 got cancelled, after McCartney was arrested at the airport for marijuana possession. Later, in what had seemed to be an attack on Macca, Laine released a song Japanese Tears. Laine hit a bad-patch when he filed for bankruptcy in the mid-eighties and sold his lucrative co-publishing rights of chart-topper Mull Of Kintyre to McCartney. As for the recent pictures, a spokesperson for McCartney has denied to comment on the reunion. (ANI)

It would be good if they did bury the hatchet.

Sun King, do you even know which one Denny Laine is? Or are you just gonna continue to muddy the waters with connections that you invented?

Denny and BeatlePhil are old-date friends. Can you picture that photo session? 'ok drummer boy -pretend that's how drummers drum- stay completely still-yeah, just like that- like your whole body has lock jaw- for another ten minutes , and you two-stand straight up you in the middle-lean forward. No, forward and left. Your other left- towards me, idiot. You on the left, take half a tablet next time.

Sorry, I just HAVE to get back to those shoes for a second. They're killing me. Where'd they get those - 'Pinocchio Footwear Co.'? 'Geppetto Mfg'? The only ones that look like they could possibly be normal are drummerboy's. But then again he hasn't said anything cause of the body lockjaw.
How long was he in stasis I wonder.

Hey, does Steve Horton remind you a little bit of Ringo? He may have been one of them!
That only leaves Bev Bevan with something to do...

Maybe ringo on crank. However Horton's tight with the whos. And Bev, poor Bev, what CAN he do before he thaws?

I'm sorry, when I see this pic of Bev...it reminds me of David Johannsen as Buster Poindexter...remember him? OF the New York Dolls fame?
I'm getting my replacement bands confused...I was for a brief lapse of thought, was thinking Pepperpots....
as for the shoes...it looks almost like the sheik of araby...curled pointed toe...it was great for killing cockroaches in corners...

And these men both posed as Paul Mc Cartney.....
Well, if this was a true reconciliation, I'm glad it happened.
