The evidence indicates several of the BEATLES photographs taken by Robert Whitaker from 1965-66 involved stand-ins of some sort or another.

That "harrison's" nose remembers me the ORIGINAL one belonging to the guy on the right in the second picture. A Beatles Doubles convention there?

I've always found that particular "back cover" photo rather odd. "George" looks more like Ringo in it, yet Ringo is there in plain sight himself.
