Interesting they would choose one of the "clue" photos from MMT with the black carnation. But of course, Faul said they just happened to run out of the red, white, yellow and blue ones that day and went with a color rarely if ever seen, even at funerals.

I hate to side with you guys on this, but even I feel "Faul's" explaition was BS. They're the Beatles. If they want something, they get it like instantly.

"Black carnations" are created, not natural flowers. There is a certain type of paint, in a spray can, used to 'dye' white carnations. So the black carnation was white originally -- it would've made more sense to 'dye' it to match the others

Ya, like Abbey Road, where it was supposedly a hot day so he wasn't wearing shoes.... yet there's plenty of test shots with shoes on. Why in the world would our Beatle Bill need to tell so many little white lies?? If there was nothing to cover up, then they wouldn't be neccessary.

[img src="http://galeon.hispavista.com/akostuff/img/Dunno2[1].gif"] His head is just titled to the side a bit... But when I compare that screen grab to other Paul/"Faul" pics, this one seems to be slighty "squeezed" vertically inwards...

Ok, I grabbed this off the internet, so I have no idea what post processing was involved. I would have done it myself, but my Winblows machine is acting really flakey and crashing every few minutes. The poster claimed this was an HDTV capture, don't know what that means as far as what happens with the aspect ratio. I'll look around for someone else's version, there must be tons of these floating around already.
I'm assuming that's from a video, it looks familiar, or a fairly common still?

Not to start an argument about earlobes again, but..that black spot near his left (our right) lobe is odd, (#5) and it's there through every frame, seemingly a shadow?

Looks like something from the same session as the pic on the back of "McCartney". Also near the end of the "Anthology" DVD, they're summarizing the Beatles career, and it shows "Faul" from what looks like the same session with this really weird expression on his face.

The way he looks in the Penny Lane video still freaks me out. He just looks very un-Paulish.
