Watch Sir Paul's ridiculous video for this cheesy eighties song. If you don't watch the whole thing, I highly recommend watching 2:35-2:40. I don't know why it makes me laugh so much, it's just so utterly ridiculous that I can't help it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLSKNzT0Ve8All joking aside (although it's hard not to acknowledge the hilarity of that video), this song by no means sounds as if it is being sung by someone from Liverpool. I feel like there's no evidence of an English dialect anywhere in that song. No?

Yes, it is very mid to late 80's in style and production, natch, and I enjoyed that era. The video is amusing and light. Enjoyable.Breezy, fluffy, but likable. Hey, it isn't "Say, Say, Say." And that's all I need to know. ;D Addendum: What was it at 2:35 that you noticed? Is it the escalator ride?

Oh, the accent observation was about the whole song, but the escalator ride and the shaking fit that he goes into makes me giggle.

The 80's...... what the hell happened there? Even the music has a certain cheese to it, not to mention the clothes and such.... And I know that some people say "Oh well, you will look back to our clothes and hair 20 years from now and think how stupid it is" well then how come the 60's and 70's clothing and music holds up so much better?
I remember John saying that he thought the seeds planted in the 60's would begin to sprout in the 80's.... Hope to god that this isn't what he had in mind......
