I guess someone is just being clever. You can find other "celebrities" on myspace--Mariah Carey, Matt Damon, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Madonna, Michael Jackson... If anyone here wants do one for Paul McCartney (not Sir Faul McWannabe), I'd suggest making it a serious tribute site and link to here, rather than another celebrity pretender.
That has been around for some time, I suspect it's "real" in the sense that his PR people put it up.
He (or whoever) goes around to various musical Myspace accounts leaving the comment "be cosmically conscious". However he also did that to someone from here, who has some 1967 era Faul pics as part of his profile, interesting.. (not me)
Edit: I should add that just about everyone who is on Sir Paul's friends list got an invite from Brian Ray
Another thing I forgot to mention, and this is kinda funny really, but if you submit a comment, it takes a few days to appear. Seems like the editorial control is rather tight. (unlike most other music oriented Myspaces)
"It is quite possible that societies - much like individuals - collectively repress information, concepts, and ideas which would produce high anxiety levels if dealt with consciously."
How about starting a myspace.com for the real JPM, with his comments concerning Faul, Fia, Fylan etc.?
That is an interesting idea there beatlies. Ya have to own the copyrights to a song before ya can start a music page & upload songs, but I don't see why ya can't do this...... the page doesn't have to be in yer name.... my page isn't dave's page, it's eyesbleed's.... Macca's page is Paul McCartney's page, not JAMES Paul McCartney's.
Anyway... I wonder who-the-hell put up the maccapoop page. ya gotta own the copyright to English Tea..... although... I haven't tried uploading a song that I don't own so I don't know how long it would take them to delete an illegal page. Plus I noticed the song title is misspelled.... I'm sure there's a reason for that. I noticed Paul McCartneyPoop doesn't have any friends! I sure am tempted to hit that add to friends button.
Nothing to do with Billy, but a friend of mine has a pretty cool"techno" version of Dear Prudence posted on his myspace page, if anybody's interested. Ya gotta be a member & logged in to listen to the whole track btw. www.myspace.com/jjlacey
