I nabbed the dummies picture from another thread as I figured this deserved a thread of it's own. It seems to be a pretty important clue. It proves that a lot of time, effort and money went into creating the 'clues'. It also makes me wonder what those 'clues' are really all about.

What's strange is that they're NOT the same dummies at all. So who commisioned the second set, the ones used on the SPLHCB album cover ? Is there a record of it ? What happened to them ? The Paul dummy from the album cover has a fuller face than the original one did. It's supposed to represent JPM later on in his life !

Have they never been asked about this? They surely must have a story ready. I'd love to hear it. I did find this. Waxing lyrical at Beatles findTHE original waxwork heads of the Beatles used on the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover have been discovered at Madame Tussauds. The props were presumed missing for nearly 40-years but were found hidden in a store room. Now they are being put up for sale and are expected to fetch up to £80,000 at auction. Only the heads of John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr have been found. But Madame Tussauds have found another vintage waxwork of Paul McCartney to complete the set. news.scotsman.com/topics.cfm?tid=19&id=2047872005

"they're NOT the same dummies at all"
Yes lili, i've always maintained that as well, there's definitely something awry there....

Notice that the George and Paul dummies in both sets resemble the real thing, while JOhn and Ringo in both sets don't really look like them...
The B&W Paul dummy has a longer neck...while the Sgt. pepper dummy looks like he doesn't have much of a neck.
The symbolism of the "heads only" of the dummies is eerie, esp with the idea that JPM was decapitated.

The worst were the later ones, they were truly terrible IMO.

When I said later I meant the late 60's "hippy" dummies as seen in the "Unseen Archives" book, they are LOL ridiculous!

Noodles, I never thought about that before. Here's some comparisons: Ringo looks the same in both. The George ones kinda look alike. The John ones resemble each other, but I think the bust one looks more like John that the dummy on the cover of SPLHCB. The Paul bust looks NOTHING like the Paul dummy on the SPLHCB album cover. I just noticed that the Paul bust's head has ears set close to his head. I have to wonder if Bill did model for it !

They obviously went the extra mile to make Ringo and Paul appear mournful, glancing downwards as if they were looking at the flowers in the dirt. John and George's busts look unchanged however.
