When I think about the body of work the Beatles have created, a most significant turn came with the Music of Rubber Soul.
Instead of just being a group of "mop tops" creating catchy love pop songs, this album takes a solemn change of direction.
Gone are the days of the pop ditties, and here comes something more sobering, more real, and now looking back, possibly a reflection of their fame and the price of it.
IF indeed the Beatles became monarch slaves of the "shadow system", or whatever you want to call it, and was prepped for "untimely death", this would explain the difference of albums before this release.
Songs like Nowhere Man, You Won't See Me, Think For Yourself, could be reflections of who they pictured themselves to be, could be clues as to future events, call it prophetic utterances. In My Life looks like a time of one facing their own end and looking back at their life.
So touching, so talented, so unlike the music that was being piped out on radio in those days. While not being like the folk music we have discussed on Dylan and Baez, this album has something that still sounds fresh all these years since. It has a quality unlike anything of it's time.
The source I was looking at said the release date was Dec 3 1965. It just amazes me still to think something so unique was created in 1965. What else was in 1965, Wooly Bully? You get my point.
Without going into details with each song, I just feel that there was more than just everyday life experiences that inspired this recording. This was a complex group made up of 3 complex men. (John, JPM and George), Ringo was not a main contributor of the music and he can't be included in the lyrical content of the material, as the others were.
But we are talking about a major turning point in the history of THE group that has most impacted Rock and Roll, as well as the culture we live in.
Let this be a thread, maybe sharing what one feels could be clues in this album, or perhaps just sharing insights from this material.
We so often enjoy the material a band or individual creates, but do we really appreciate what that group or individual put into their music, and what made it so important to us?
We should consider, while we think about PID clues, things that could have been going on at this time in their lives and career that could be part of a "foreknowledge" of what was to happen.
We also discuss a sinister operation that has been taking place for over 200 years. We live in a world that is working towards a New World Order, this band of individuals were part of the culture that changed the way we lived, we thought about things, how we danced, what we dreamed, and their part in it, whether it be as victims or participants.
This is a pivotal point that should be taken into consideration.
We think about Sept. 11, 1966. And well it should be as it was probably most likely the date JPM was murdered. But it did not just happen that year, it was a process...
Let us examine this further........
....or it could be ignored......
I thought I'd throw this out there, don't know who will "catch" it....
