Well, fabulous. Now I have to, of course as is my way, run to Tower and get this CD in the next few days.
I'll have 'em all before too long.
Interesting choices of pics. Numbered! An eye, an ear, a mouth, all close-ups.........other things that I will need the large version to see clear----------
Well, I just love the picture of the tea-pot.
The poster is talking but I'm not totally up on the dialect.......... FP, what are your impressions on this?
But its the songs we need to hear.....think I'll pop into Tower tomorrow........

the dog, the old couple, Larry King!!, a shot with headphones in the studio, blooming flowers, the dog laying prone, Paul under the water (ripples of distortion, how can these things be) an ear, HANDS!!!... #25 is a shadow or silhouette of arms "a kimbo" hands on head; is that a alien on that other one? Aliens keep popping up in the mix, some how....(Calling All Occupants) standing out looking across the sea a la MMT, more references than you can shake a stick at! When was this CD released? I must go to bed. I am thinking, "whoops." But maybe all is okay.

FP, what are your impressions on this? I find picture six kind of strange. It looks like a dead girl lying in the road. And I belive there's a reason for every pic's number.... Strange how it ends on 28. BTW, the front cover is (PF)aul jumping out of a red car, barefoot. And it's not a poster, just the back of the CD holder. It was released 2001

Oh I see, no 6 is a girl there. Hmmmm....Maybe she is doing it in the road. (sleeping)
Is that Heather on down on the right? (My resolution not so good on screen) Paul on porch in flip-flops........
A red car? Well, ya know what they say about red cars............
I see, it is the "back gate, or flap" or whatever in the jewel case.......
28! and driving? rain? hhmmmm............

First impressions mean something. I guess it reflects how we are "set" to recieve something, in a way. Gosh, it may be a young girl. Again, resolution issues, hard to tell.
Well, then a 2001 date means that it was all created way before the alternate reality-worlds of.......well, the "old site", and these newer ones. So, coincidences again............................unless they're reading minds and seeing the future....................nah! ......Too easy to read into things that which was never there............

And in no. 17, it looks like he has a Hitler moustache. What's with that?

#27 is a lifeguard tower at the beach ( I am presuming that) #11 is a big pic of a remote control TV thing, WHAT is #10, WHY is #16,, I can not recognize #24. And I see the quasi-Hitler moustache. Or, maybe Charlie Chaplin cause its more of a brushweed style, wasn't Herr Adolphe's a little less bushy? Maybe not----the water refracts so. I guess a beard in the WA poster, so a moustache in this one, eh?

And 24 looks like 2 fingers holding a toothbruh. Do you know those posters made out of hundreds of little pictures? Maybe that's what this is, exept the white boxes with numbers get in the way, and you have to try to edit them out - kinda like a puzzle.

You mean, where you syand far enough back from it and squint or have one eye shut till you can percieve the "Empire State Bulding" in a silhouette based on the "darker hues" of the pic, but its really a collage of a bunch of snap shots of different vegetables (or something along those lines) I try to see something but no, now I can't. Yes, I see the toothbrush. Hmmmm. A little stuck for now. Ill look again when fresher...........

Yes, that's what I mean. A big picture made out of tiny pictures. Okay, I edited out the white with the numbers in them and shrunk it, and now I'm starting to see other things....

Picture 6 is an old English sheepdog lying on the floor. No girl, sorry.
Pic 17 is pretty weird, with Paul looking dead with a heavily disfigured face. Yes, he's underwater, but who can tell what the symbolism is?
And pic 28 - Where's the scar!?

Picture 6 is an old English sheepdog lying on the floor. No girl, sorry. Hmm...I can't see that. Can you point out what's what? It's there. You can see it better on the back of the actual CD. Anyway, I edited out the #'s, shrunk it and rotated it 90 degrees. Blur your eyes, move your head in different directions, and tell me what you see: So far, all I can see is half a skull in the middle.

The first thought I had when I saw the small one.. These little pics are out of order! You need to cut them up and put them together again like a puzzle! I used to have an old macintosh computer game called Fool's Errand that had a lot of puzzles similar to this, it really reminded me of that.

I tried looking for a photo of the back of an Old English sheepdog lying down but is a very difficult task. I think the examples here should show where I'm coming from.

It's loading fine with me. If anyone else has trouble with it then I'll make the pic smaller. If you get the red X just reloading the page.

I dunno, maybe a different slice. off topic, but on topic in a way, Driving Rain is an alogether excellent album. It gets off to a great start and gets better all throughout. I especially love the final third, though I like it all thru. Clearly in part a well composed requiem for his beloved Linda. There is a good tie-together of all the lyrics ideas; the lyrics tend to not be long or overdone, but concise and well distilled. The instrumental parts, the harmonics and the riffs, the hooks, the melodies and counter melodies, are all likeable and tasty. Thanks for pointing me t'ward this one, JoJo and FP.
