The discussion of the repeated saying of "Number 9" by George Martin on the White Album has come up many times, both here and at TKIN.
But what does it mean? What does repeatedly saying the number 9 really mean? Does it refer to simply Paul McCartney, who was born on the 18th of June? And so by adding up the numbers of his birthday you would get the number 9? Well, I think it means more than that.
I think what they were referring to was the number of days Paul was missing from when he crashed his car and when they found his body. It's that simple in my opinion. This point has possibly been made before but it makes the most sense. You see, September 11, 1966 was the date of the car crash and 9 days later on September 20th his body was discovered. The 20th of September was a Tuesday(Stupid Bloody Tuesday, Tuesday afternoon is never-ending, Ruby Tuesday, etc.). It's right there in front of our faces.

Well, all that may be true, but how many ways are there to say "Turn me on, deadman" backwards? That may have had something to do with the choice of words. But I'm inclined to think the "mantra" of "Number nine" may have been intended to initiate "Revolution 9" which was an idea John had that the next "revolution" would actually be the stage of evolution of humanity being evidenced by a turning away from violence and war. Unfortunately, I don't have the source for that material handy to link to right now.

That's just the sort of irreverent answer that I would have come back with if someone else had asked it. But what I meant, of course, was why is George Harrison pointing at those words? If "Number Nine" and "stupid bloody Tuesday" and I ONE IX are important, why is "Wednesday morning at five o'clock" important? Other than the fact that that's when she left home?

I myself always thought of "stupid bloody Tuesday" as the day of the week that the accident (which is the theory I agree most with, although I know not everyone here thinks that!) occurred and it would naturally follow that the rest of the guys would probably have found out on the Wednesday, possibly early in the morning. Sometimes polics aren't patrolling mega late at night and there may be a delay in them getting to the scene of the accident or something, you know? If I am not mistaken, Paul's supposed accident was said to have happened pretty late at night, probably technically early morning on Wednesday, but since Paul hadn't yet slept, it could be referred to as Tuesday. After all, it's about 1:40 AM right now and I wouldn't consider it to be Monday yet because I've not yet slept. As for the number 9 itself, I haven't quite decided the significance of that for my theory. It could be pretty much anything, you know?

Some people feel that that is the time that an automobile accident occurred, or that the discovery of one was made. Others say it may have been the time at which Paul was "officially pronounced dead". But to the best of my knowledge, nobody, save a select few, know what, if anything, happened then. It may have been a clue to a real event, or to an event that never happened in reality.

What happened on Wednesday morning at five o'clock? Nothing. JPM wrote those lyrics. Because that's the last song JPM wrote before he died.

Nothing. But if there is any connection, it may be that if Paul had been maimed, or killed, it could possibly have made John wish for humanity to move past such behavior.

The Abbey Road cover has nothing to do with 'the path' to Crowley's Abbey. Nobody is dressed like a white or black magician. The crosswalk is no reference to the symbolic interplay of the forces of light and darkness. There is no reference to '27 Club' on the BEETLE. Deep Space Nine: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_Nine_AnglesThe last image at the closing of the credits after the original Star Trek series, that was Crowley's Awaiss. Initiation into certain occult groups requires a 'symbolic' death, followed by a (white) wedding (album).

Are you saying then that Paul died a SPIRITUAL death sometime in the late 1960's but that he was never PHYSICALLY replaced?

I think that I've heard that "Number 9" had special significance in the life of John Lennon -- at least in Lennon's own mind -- which I've always found interesting since numerology is a form of spiritualism and this intrigue would be coming from an individual who prided himself on his anti-spirituality. As for the rest of it, you have pretty much verbalized what I have been thinking since my mind also has a tendency to blur the distinction between late evening and early morning and presumably that's true for others. I used to think that I ONE IX probably meant "November 9", as opposed to September 11, simply because November 9, 1966 was a Wednesday, but the sight of the "September 12" date on the tombstone in "Free As A Bird" convinced me that if anything really did happen, it probably happened during the September 11-12 time frame. And yes, I've always felt that if anything happened, it was probably an accident, simply because that's what the clues repeatedly point to. I don't believe in the idea of a "double reversal" -- i.e., clues surreptitiously suggesting a fatal accident in order to disguise a murder.

Trust me when I say that at this point I am as confused as everyone, if not more so. There does seem to be something 'super-natural' guiding all this clue-laying. Everyone here is sharing vital info, and we are in this together. I am not holding any inside info, I spill it as it comes.

The freemasons traced the astrological alignment associated with the birth of a teacher to Sept. 11, APOLLOnius of Tyrana. The Dictionary of Satanism says of Levi: LEVI, ELIPHAS French magician and author of works on the occult. Eliphas Levi, whose real name was Alphonse Louis Constant, claimed to have summoned up the ghost of Apollonius of Tyana in London in 1854. Born in Paris about 1810, he is said to have been reincarnated as Aleister Crowley. Aleister Crowley was the most influential Satanist of all time and Eliphas Levi had such a profound influence on Crowley, that Crowley actually believed that he was Eliphas Levi reincarnated. The influence of Levi can be seen not only on Freemasonry, but also upon modern Satanism. It can also be said of Crowley that he was an occultist and a Freemason. John Charles Cooper said of Levi: "He popularized occultism in Europe, and through Aleister Crowley, in America. Levi stressed magic as a means to power and emphasized sex and drug abuse." Apollonius of Tyrana, who Eliphas Levi claimed to have summoned from the dead, was one of the earliest historical figures that pagans sought to establish as an anti-christ. He was born in A.D.16 and was a magician and adept occultist to whom many supernatural feats were attributed. In his book, The Phoenix, 33rd degree Mason Manly P. Hall entitles his chapter on Apollonius: "Apollonius, "The Antichrist" " source: www.ritualabusefree.org/Lucifer-Albert%20Pike-Eliphas%20Levi.htm

9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

, but the sight of the "September 12" date on the tombstone in "Free As A Bird" convinced me that if anything really did happen, it probably happened during the September 11-12 time frame. I think that the tombstone from the FAAB video is a blatant clue left by the Beatles and Apple. It's really quite simple in my opinion, Paul crashed his car on September 11, survived for a day or so after dying on the 12th and his body lay there until Tuesday of the following week. Or the theory that he survived and lived in seclusion and so the clues left by the Beatles were all a ruse to make people, like us, think that he died....when he was behind the scenes influencing the Beatles. This theory makes no sense to me. It's possible that he was murdered but the Beatles only knew it to be car crash. He could have been run off the road for one.... P.S. When I went to check this thread, it said it had 18 replies. 1 + 8 = 9.

This is slightly off topic, but in as much as it has already been brought up in reply # 15 by Malus, I feel compelled to set the record straight on Eliphas Levi: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eliphas_LeviI would be disappointed to learn that he was, in fact, re-incarnated as Crowley. I'm happy to see that this is not necessarily true.

Who to believe? The Dictionary of Satanism or Wiki, take your pick. So at what point does the soul enter a body? Conception, birth, or somewhere in between?
"Eliphas Levi had such a profound influence on Crowley, that Crowley actually believed that he was Eliphas Levi reincarnated."
I think the point is that Crowley thought it was true.
So, if George W. Bush is not Crowley's Bitches offspring, then why was I able to pinpoint the "8 second window of opportunity' to shoot down the satellite by using symolism and astrology, not rocket science?
Why did the shuttle, which was designed to launch satellites and retrieve broken ones (hint!) have to land empty? Fireman shooting his wad during a red moon lunar ecliplse?
Satellite=satan light Apollo 13 launched 13:13 military time ISS=Isis

Whatever you're smoking, I don't want it. I'd ask you to explain, but I learned from Crowned Joe/Steven Christ that there's no point in it. But I did like the face in the clouds; that was pretty cool!
malus wrote: "So at what point does the soul enter a body? Conception, birth, or somewhere in between?"
The late astrologer Linda Goodman felt that the soul that intends to incarnate in a body is given opportunity by virtue of a tornado-like vortex into the astral levels created by two people copulating. A connection is made at that time; however the soul isn't permanently locked into the physical body until the first breath is taken after birth. (Her opinion.)
