I'm quite aware that the main vocals of Yellow Submarine are Ringo's. The nasal drone of his is not like any other... But the refrain in the song, Ringo singing as we live a life of ease, everyone of us Another voice: Everyone of us, (sounding a lot like Faul's voice in Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey) and not like JPM, or any of the other Beatle voices.
This song was from Revolver, which was supposed to have been recorded before Paul's death in 1966. If it was indeed possible that Faul was doing some recording before JPM's death.... Maybe Paul knew his "hourglass" was running out, but he didn't know exactly when that would happen. Perhaps the tone of the music on Rubber Soul and Revolver reflect the impending "untimely death". I have a theory on this, but I won't go into that detail on this post. This is just wondering about that vocal on YS besides Ringo....

Always figured that was John, although he (or whoever) is singing with a pretend accent, like sorta overly British. ("in ower yallow submarine") Sound it out, see what I mean?

I am pretty sure that's Paul in the backround.

Maybe it was John, after all, John and JPM did record some songs and sounded alike when they wanted to. I remember "Help" on an old "Rarities" album. What was released as a John solo, in this variation, John and JPM took turns on the lead vocals in different verses. Wished I still had the recording.

Actually, I have to agree with DarkHorse on this one. That's Paul putting on the accent. He always liked to play with his accent. He has a very heavy accent in Here, There & Everywhere. As a child, I always thought it was George singing that. I was shocked to find out it was Paul.
