I bet Eyesbleed is interested.. ;D Seriously, I made a post about this at TKIN, and I'm thinking you sent this file to me Eyesbleed? "Beyond the Valley of A Day in the Life" is the name, and it got a little discussion going. I totally forgot what a fan you were until I saw the pics with the big eyeballs.. Ah.. that's right, lol. This is the song: www.jojoplace.org/Shoebox/Beatles_Collage_Residents.mp3I looked over their site here: www.theresidents.co.uk/You're the one to ask.. what is the deal with them, do they have any pics anywhere, other than the big eyeballs, or other odd getups? A couple of pics I grabbed from the site:

This caught my attention...... So what could Jojo be posting about the Rez? Ya... I'm sure I sent ya the beatles collage. They did that back in the early 70's when they all had day-jobs. I've always liked that collage.... did I also send you the B-side of that single?? It's a wonderfully weird version of Flying! These guys are my fave band overall & are the most prolific band around. I've got about 70+ cd's & 7 dvd's by these guys.... they are truely amazing.... & definately the weirdest band in America. The eyeballs................ they've always worn disguises on stage & never put their identities on any product. Just "The Residents" The disguises have changed from time to time, but the eyeball heads are their most recognizable & remembered image. (those things gotta get hot as hell while doing a show!) The real hardcore fans know who the 2 main guys are, so I guess it's really just a silly game that goes with the music, but a lot of things about these guys are shrouded in mystery..... & most people don't have a clue who they are. The pic from the back of Meet The Beatles you posted was the pic on the back of their first album... introducing the band..... Paul McCrawfish, John Crawfish, George Crawfish, & Ringo Starfish. This is a better pic of the front cover.......... Nobody is really sure if they like The Beatles or hate The Beatles. And there hasn't been any more Beatles references since the 70's that I'm aware of. Here's a nice collage a fan did How about this for a devoted fan...OUCH

While the Residents may not be privy to any inside info, I think what we might be seeing/hearing from them is a tapping into the collective unconcious bringing to the surface bits and pieces of PID. It's all a bit like a dream, really, very disconnected and it doesn't make much sense.
