I found on diffrent places about Bill thanking Paul, John, George and Ringo at the Grammy awards or something like that... well i wonder if there was video or audio from that day  because i can't find it  homepages.tesco.net/harbfamily/opd/other.htmlThe Acceptance Speech When Paul was giving an acceptance speech for the Beatles' awarding of the 'Presidents Award' at the Grammy's, he gave thanks "on behalf of John, Paul, George and Ringo". Why did he list himself as a 3rd person? Is it because he isn't Paul? |

Why did he list himself as a 3rd person? Is it because he isn't Paul? Yes, I remember seeing that. I think it was the Grammys a few years ago. The Beatles were given a "presidential award" or something to that effect. Ringo also had a very short acceptance speech, but when Sir Paul said "on behalf of John Paul George & Ringo" I almost fell out of my chair! His speech was pre-taped so it wasn't a slip or anything. It was planned. yep I remember that well. |
