Ringo Starr has borrowed the title of an old Paul McCartney song for his new album.
On the title track to 'Choose Love' his upcoming new album, Ringo sings "The Long and Winding Road is more than a song"."The Long and Winding Road is more than a song"?? Should be interesting.. That song for me has always looked like a tribute to Paul..

Thanks for posting that PL. Here are the lyrics to TLAWR. Haven't been able to figure out much meaning so far. Maybe it was written by Ringo?: The long and winding road That leads to your door Will never disappear I've seen that road before It always leads me here leads me to your door.
The wild and windy night That the rain washed away Has left a pool of tears Crying for the day. Why leave me standing here? Let me know the way.
Many times I've been alone And many times I've cried, Anyways you've always known. The many ways I've tried.
But still they lead me back To the long, winding road You left me standing here A long, long time ago Don't leave me waiting here Lead me to your door.
But still they lead me back To the long winding road You left me standing here A long, long time ago (ohhh) Don't keep me waiting here Lead me to your door.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...

I read somewhere the song is supposed to be about Jane Asher! As it was written somewhere in the late 60's I told you there was something going on between her and William..... If Paul was a double, maybe it's about him yearning to meet the real one.
