I was looking through my photos & I came across these two. What I found amazing is that I didn't see the main difference until today ! Paul: :Bill The top digit on Paul's pinky is noticeably longer than Bill's !

I'm sure there's a logical explanation, Lili. It got worn down playing left-handed bass all those years. Yeah... that's the ticket! Great observation! This might be a clearer "smoking gun" than the ear lobes. If we could see a few more photos of the left pinky, that might nail it, so to speak.

Not only the pinky, but the lifelines on the palms are different. The lines on the hands are different on each person. For someone who is into palmistry could read the difference in those hands.
JPM had longer fingers, the better to play bass with.

some interesting photos. This is Faul from 1967. It's definitely not Paul, but I don't think that it's Bill either: Paul: Bill: Paul: Bill: Paul: Bill: Paul: Bill: Bill & Bowie: A profile comparison: Paul: Bill: Paul: i55.photobucket.com/albums/g146/lilis456/64side.jpg[/IMG]Bill: Another palm shot of Bill: Paul: :Bill I'm always looking for more hand & palm shots. If anyone has more to add to this thread, please do.

It appears that all of Paul's fingers were longer & more slender than Bill's.

But... the lines in the palms are pretty similar. Aren't they?

Paul had longer and thinner fingers than Bill. And that seems funny that Bill, being the piano player, had short fingers.

Someone at the Sea of Green is asking who this is. Do any of you recognize him ? [ Is that Dino Danelli? It doesn't look like Bill's face and it's not JPM.

Hmm I'd just guess Denny Laine, first impression.
Funny thing though, if you substitute the "I" for a "Y", and reuse a letter or two, you can make a semi-anagram of Denny Laine out of Dino Danelli.
Not perfect, but maybe that's not always how it works?

I also thought that it might be Denny Laine. ilras, the lines are similar. I wonder if that was done through surgery of some kind ? I wish that I had clearer palm prints for both men.

I read palms on an amateur level. What's interesting to me is that the second hand here: "Bill's" Paul: :Bill would match the hand of this fellow: were it not for that bizaarely long index finger on the right hand. What? Was Bill the "elastic man" that his fingers can stretch?!

I read palms on an amateur level. What's interesting to me is that the second hand here: "Bill's" Paul: That's because it more closely matches this one: He has stolen my hand! Can we put NOTHING past this individual? Where will he stop? Where will all this END? I am having to resort to allowing other people to lend me a hand, and sometimes the wrong one! Do you know how hard it is to play the piano with two right hands? Do you know the pain of resorting to second-hand, second hands? Life sux when even a common wristwatch winds up having a second hand that gets around better than mine does.........

Doc, I hate to say this, but yes, your hand and Bill's are quite similar! Were you separated at birth, perhaps? Well, it's not all bad news... ;D At the risk of sounding a bit obvious, he's got a little more going for him in the wealth and fame department, but honestly, you're no slouch yourself. Make an effort to have healthy habits, so that you can enjoy your old age (many years from now ). Strangely enough, none of the pictures of Bill's or Paul's hands show their lifelines enough to make a call on them, but both are intelligent, and while Paul was an idealist, both are genuinely decent. Paul's hands are much more "the creator" than Bill's.

Lending a hand reminded me of the lyrics "lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song...." But tell me, if I would lend you my ears, would that make you able to sing? Or does it mean that your singing is so bad that I'm better off without them?
Just throwing something of a twist into this thread.
Not that I've never done it before, but once in a while I interject some of this added babble just to make someone scratch their head.
Now would surgeons go into such detail as to try to imitate palms of JPM to Bill?
Hands across the water, water Hands across the sky
Wee ooo ......I want to hold your hand.

Plus, none of JPM's fans were studying his palms anyway, which they never saw because he was always picking that Hofner palms down. And it's a non-issue. Imagine someone "coming forward" to claim that "his knuckles look different!"?...........Hands across the water, water Hands across the sky------ a nice song, I always thought it was about "Hans", the flying Dutchman, in an airplane bound for LaGuardia for his first trip sight-seeing in New York.Wee ooo ......I want to hold your hand.-------- Fer' safekeepin', or fer' evidence?Luvley, LR.

Hans the flying Dutchman??? Never thought about that one...never....I mean the thought never crossed my mind. And why was that? Because flying dutchmen never cross anyone's mind just as looking at JPM's palms or knuckles....or dare I even mention Bill's kneecaps? Nobody has ever discussed his kneecaps..... or the soles of his feet. If we are going to examine the extent of replacing JPM, it should be the kneecaps and soles....
Going back and seeing my own question about lending me your ears...perhaps that alludes to the rubber Mr. Potato Head ears that Bill used to resemble JPM. "Hey Paul, lend me YOUR ears so I can look more like you.... And I'll try not to sing out of key..."
Now if this had been a country music singer, would there be a forum with photo comparisons? Like Hey, Garth Brooks has been replaced by Farth Frooks....a chiropractor from the black mountain Hills of Dakota whose real name is William Carbuncle. Maybe a few guys with their duct-taped computers and six packs attached to their hats with their CB radios discussing it over the Dukes of Hazzard......
Anyhow...where was I going with that? Not sure, maybe I'm shellshocked with all of the loud booms of fireworks due to the drunken celebrations of fools attempting to set off their own fireworks and dismembering themselves..... ...which comes back to lend me your ears...Didn't that have a mention in some old speech by Mark Antony? Friends...Romans...countrymen....lend me your ears.....I didn't come to bury Caesar but to praise him? ...lend me your ears....
Perhaps there is a monologue to some epic drama that could be connected to the PID/PWR..but I am not familiar with epic dramas...except for the famous last line in Gone WIth The WInd...well not the exact last line...but the famous last words of Rhett Butler to Scarlet O Hara, "Frankly My dear, I don't give a damn..." Something about an extremely long movie, too much overacting, and a storyline where a beautiful woman is mad about a dorky Southern gentleman (played by an actor who kept his British accent) rather than being happily married to the dashing man who was her true match....The Frankly my dear part seems perfect ending....after all, tomorrow is another day....Another Day......hey, isn't that one of Bill's songs? Hmmmm. Maybe Bill was inspired by Scarlett O Hara....or maybe Neely O Hara, the Patty Duke character from Valley of the Dolls.....which leads us to Sharon Tate who was also in Valley of The Dolls, which leads to Roman Polanski and the Fia Farrow connection, OR...the Charles Manson connection....oh it gets stranger and stranger.....
Frankly my dear.....It's getting pretty strange around here...strange days indeed.
Yoko actually looking GOOD
Test tube babies and Raelian cloning
Strange astronomical things happening in space
The deserts of the world are expanding...
GW Bush is still president...
Hillary Clinton is being prepped to be the next US President.......Whose going to be her running mate? Don't want to know.....
The possibility of Mc Donald's going organic vegetarian...
Paris Hilton fashion icon....
Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan being considered "recording artists"....
Don Knotts replacing Brian Epstein....
the pope having been a Youth for Hitler....
Reality tv is better than the stuff that's actually written, directed and acted out...?
We are living in the very last days....it's the end of the world as we know it....
Strange days indeed....
