The date on the Sgt. Pepper drum, that is. Posted for newcomers who may have been misinformed by the many people who continue to insist on the American-centered 11/9 date.
The list of mis-informers includes Doc Lev,who also considers the whole matter a "fun parlour game" . I suppose there's nothing wron with that. Escapism is probably healthy in todays climate.

Indeed. I doubt he is even a real doctor. Someone should check were he claims he comes from and see if he isn't just making it up.

He's an engineer and a musician. I think the Doc part is just for fun.

LOL not that Doc Levinson. I somehow got the impresion that his full name is Levinson, but it appears I was wrong.
I don't mean to single that individual out, it's just that he has a large site and much exposure and it doesn't help to give out incorrect information or refer to this matter as a "fun parlour game." All concerned about the PID/PWR matter are less likely to be taken seriously when someone of that stature goes on a radio show and refers to the whole deal as "fun" and a "game."
That being said, I think he has a great site and has done much to expose many people to the other clues. I especially enjoy the e-mailed clues section.
Also, there are also plenty of other misinformations from members of sites such as YouTube that insist on using the date of November 11th instead of the British dating method -- which only makes sense as the Beatles are/were...British. And if it ties in rather auspiciously with the other 9/11...

Having read JoJo's 9/11 thread and seen a few other 9/11 movies and interviews that cast serious doubt on the Official Story, I feel that Joe Epigrave's" drum date has more sinister undertones to it. I know from polling data that a majority of New York residents do not believe the Official 9/11 story. I have a feeling that much of the world has suspicions about it as well. Given the two dates, I think that the PID /PWR clues would raise many more eyebrows among the more aware types. The Melody Maker Awards (NME?) photo is a non-issue IMO because they had so much power at that time, ie, literally bigger than Jesus. One example: I don't think an editor of an entertainment rag would turn down a cool million just to change a date. Or if his or her life and their families were threatened and so forth. I have a vague recollection of some other historical events occurring on that date. Can anyone here help me out on this? Thanks

So it appeared on the drum to "prophesise(sp?)" the acts of the same date 34 years on. Fine, but surely that adds credence to the fact that JPM was killed (JMO) on that specific date for a reason?

I wasn't thinking of it as prophetic signal, though you've come up with an interesting possibility!! I am not clear on what it signifies. I was thinking that it may be code, like "do a 9/11" . I don't think the Illuminati and occult groups are the only agencies to use dates as codes. I don't have any good ideas on the reasons. The dates just strike me as auspicious synchronicities. I only found out recently that Lennon was assassinated on Jim Morrison's birthday. It's possible that the "ironic" dates are used to send a signal as a "chilling affect", ie, to instill fear in would be sleuths, journalists, etc... Thanks for your input!

In fact, maybe the date of 9/11 does not even specifically refer to James Paul or William. Might it refer to Brian?

Who decided that "I ONE I X" is a date anyway? That is purely speculation. There is nothing to back it up.
Lennon sang, "One and one and one is three." He may or may not have been talking about the drum, but it is the only lyrical clue we have that even vaguely references the Ephgrave reflecto cipher.

However someone in the Beatles organization did help to foster this belief by adding the "Ephgrave" name to the Pepper notes.

Okay, popular hearsay is that Joe Ephgrave never existed. But really.....is there any proof that he didn't?

Okay, popular hearsay is that Joe Ephgrave never existed. But really.....is there any proof that he didn't? Well obviously someone designed the drum, but the name Ephgrave may be a word play on "F grave", meaning "false grave" or "F*** the grave". Just a thought. I don't really know if there was such a person with that name.

I don't really know if there was such a person with that name. "Epitaph grave" I agree Epitaph-Grave is the most obvious play on Ephgrave. However an epitaph says something about the deceased, and there is nothing like that on the drum. I suppose the reflecto cipher "HE DIE" qualifies as a crummy epitaph, but as such, it is the equivalent of signing one's name with an X, (or saying nothing but "TIMMY!" all the time). -j

I would further like to point out that even if we accept the reflecto cipher as a date, "I ONE I X" could just as easily be February 9th, March 10th, (American reading) or October 3rd (European reading).
With five possible dates to choose from, I think this is a lousy way to plant a clue. It seems logical that if The Beatles wanted us to see a date, they would have been more clever about it. We are dealing with brilliant artists here.
I am going with what the man said: "1 and ONE and 1" is three.
