I didn't see this song posted on this board anywhere, but it's a good clue...
I've got a feeling, a feeling deep inside
Oh yeah, Oh yeah. (that's right.)
I've got a feeling, a feeling I can't hide
Oh no. no. Oh no! Oh no.
Yeah! Yeah! I've got a feeling. Yeah!
Oh please believe me, I'd hate to miss the train
Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
And if you leave me I won't be late again
Oh no, oh no, oh no.
Yeah Yeah I've got a feeling, yeah.
I got a feeling.
All these years I've been wandering around,
Wondering how come nobody told me
All that I was looking for was somebody
Who looked like you.
I've got a feeling that keeps me on my toes
Oh yeah, Oh yeah.
I've got a feeling, I think that everybody knows.
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, Oh yeah.
Yeah! Yeah! I've got a feeling. Yeah!
Ev'rybody had a hard year.
Ev'rybody had a good time.
Ev'rybody had a wet dream.
Ev'rybody saw the sunshine.
Oh yeah, Oh yeah. Oh Yeah.
Ev'rybody had a good year.
Ev'rybody let their hair down.
Ev'rybody pulled their socks up. (yeah.)
Ev'rybody put their foot down.
Oh yeah. Yeah! WOOOOHOO!
Given the clues in the song, Paul died 1968, this song was released on Let It Be, 1969.
Good time / good year refers to William's enjoyment of being in the band so far, they spent a good time while trying to find a replacement.
A wet dream, wet dreams are usually sexual, but can also be described as an exotic dream, ones that wouldn't come true.
Sunshine - rebirth.
Let their hair down -- now combing his hair downward, instead of upright.
Pulled their socks up -- perhaps the old Paul didn't wear shoes much, and William wore them more than he did. Notice the 'yeah' after that statement.
Put their foot down, perhaps a clue saying "no more" to the allegations of a coverup, a car crash, or an imposter, as if William, is saying "stop accusing me of being someone else"
The song seems to be a conflict of Yes and No, perhaps John wants to confess the replacement, but William doesn't. William 'has a feeling everybody knows' he's a replacement, or John has a feeling that everybody knows the cover up. And notice 'All these years I've been wandering around, how come nobody told me, all I was looking for was someone who looked like you?" -- had William been under their nose for a replacement all along?
