We never noticed this before but Faul sings something between the last "don't keep me waiting here" and "lead me to your door" at the end of the song. I have tried to reverse it but it is too deep in the mix for it to make any sense. If anyone is interested, it is soley in the right channel. It is sung and sounds like "waiting here" in the same melody so it might just be track bleeding or a mistake on a backing vocal track but considering how many mixes there were of this album, I tend to doubt they'd leave an engineering mistake intact. I am using a first press vinyl. If any of you have the CD, it would be interesting to see if they left it in. Also, is it there on 'Naked'?

To be fair I doubted i'd have it on my modern stereo CD version but, to my surprise it is there and it does, IMO sound quite innocently like "don't keep me waiting" again, however, I may be wrong.
Regardless of whether it's a clue or not, great spot mate, i've heard that song so often (like most here, i'll hazard a guess) and never noticed it, only when you pointed it out could I notice it, superb.

Yes, I think it is "don't keep me waiting". Now if you want something strange in I am the Walrus. John says "I am the Walrus" someone says "could be/maybe" something like that. I'm sure everyone has heard that one already.

I remember hearing that little extra bit in one of the renditions of the song. I remember the released on the LIB album and I know someone who had a bootleg of LIB recordings and that was different from the final release.

I isolated it and looped it. He say 'keep me way' presumably originally singing 'don't keep me waiting here' and then chopped down.

Nyone heard the "I Will" beatleg?
That voice cannot be JPM, use that to compare with an earlier song.
Also has anyone ever picked up on the point that Bill is singing "I Will" as in "I William Shepherd(or whatever), hereby declare........"
Know what I mean?
