All you can do is keep your eye on E-Bay. Both the American one & the UK one. I'll try to keep my eyes out for it too. If I find anything, I'll inform you immediately. I truly appreciate you doing this, iamaphoney.

How can you be sure it's really from him if you do find it?
Does hair decompose? I don't know, just asking.

Yes indeed! This is the kind of action that we've been needing! We can look at album covers, and play stuff backwards all day long. New clues always pop up - some obvious, others not quite so. However, if we can get some kind of undeniable evidence....... something that just may hold up in a court of law.....
.... well think of it! Ol' Paul/Faul would HAVE to come out and address the issue wouldn't he? Or just take his marbles and disappear. He obviously can't just disappear because he keeps going out on tour, and recording new albums. I think he has much the same problem as I do. You just cannot retire completely from performing. It's like an addiction. I know that if I go too long without playing a live gig, I'll get to missing it so bad that I become depressed. I'm sure it's a very common thing in the music biz.

Must have been a few months ago, someone pointed me to Ebay Live Auctions, and there was indeed a lock of JPM's hair coming up for bid. It was also way way more than I was capable of paying, bidding started in the hundreds.. No thanks. Nevertheless, it's worth checking this upscale arm of Ebay if you are so inclined. The other thing to consider is do you really know it IS a lock of his hair, yes they have all kinds of papers and such, and if all you really want to do is brag to your friends, then that's enough I suppose. But for this purpose, dunno..

I bought the HELP dvd. It comes with 2 discs. Disc 2 is about the making of Help and includes an interview with a makeup and hair stylist who worked with the Beatles during the filming of the movie. She said she still had a piece of John Lennon's hair. She also said that she gave pieces of each Beatles hair to someone for distribution to fans. (can't remember if it was to the record company, or the fan club). So, someone out there would have a piece of Paul's hair, and perhaps whoever distributed it would have included a label or certificate of authenticity. To prove it's real JPM hair, if the DNA matches the DNA of the lady in Hamburg who claims Paul is her father, viola, we prove Faul is a replacement. (didn't Faul clear his name with a paternity test?) My apologies if this idea is discussed somewhere else on this forum. I would love to see the truth come out, and this would be concrete proof.

I think what might work is to bring a cute bubbly girl with big bazookas and she's wearing cutoffs and a tank top to one of Faul's book signings or concerts (somewhere where you can get up close and personal). Have her bounce around and flirt, twirl her hair, and say something like how she's always been a Beatles fan and it would mean so much to if she could get a lock of hair. Also try to catch up with Mike McCartney in this way, and get a lock of his hair too.

They tried that on Willie Nelson, doesn't work.....but maybe a dried up old hag with a magic wand could do something to Bill, to make him confess....

I bet a lot of JPM's original suits etc contains some of his hairs. Try contacting collectors who own an item of his clothing. All you need are two good samples from before and after 1967!
Best of luck.

Palais du Sports, Paris - June 20 1965 I've always thought this was just his forehead, no way the original JPM was bald.

....then he's got quite the big forehead. Wait, isn't Faul supposed to have the big forehead?
