At 0:08 I can hear someone say "almost" on the first Sgt. Pepper track. Say, what did you use to make these? I've never been able to remove vocals so cleanly....how did you manage to?

i'm guessing its channels from the 5.1 mix
or some clever audio filtering

What 5.1 mix? Only Sgt. Reprise is on LOVE, so it can't be from there...

There are quite a few 5.1 bootlegs I think, and Mike's first Sgt Pepper is just the L and R channels separated out. Works the same on the original stereo version
which is it from?

I hate to say it......but I no longer think he's saying "Paul is dead, really, really dead". If you listen to the left stereo version Mike posted above, and also to mono version of the song (which lacks most of the reverb that makes what he is saying so hard to distinguish) you'll find that it, disappointingly seems to sound much more like "Sgt. Pepper's....really lonely band!" than "Paul is dead, really really dead". Though I'd like to think that maybe in the stereo version of the song Paul says something else, but it isn't likely. So, in my eyes, that clue has been shot down. But..........thanks to Mike, another clue has arisen. In the left stereo version right after Paul says "really really dead"/"really lonely band" John says something to the effect of "Oh my God we've killed him" or "I forgot we killed him". Which is creepy.
