Hi, I have a "musical project", and I made a song I guess you could call it, or a "sound collage" in the vein of ambient music or even Revolution 9 using a lot of the Paul is Dead clues. I tried to use as many as I could. I made a Myspace page so my friends who are into the clues could hear it, and thought someone on here might find it interesting. If so, please listen or download and let me know what you think...I used a LOT of clues and there are some interesting things I found and some interesting clues I tried to somewhat hide... Wow, very impressive, I love the use of Derek Taylor admitting "It's a grave", something that I've always harped on. If you read many books sites, etc., they always try to say that was the imaginings of the fans. Hey if it's good enough for Derek, it's good enough for me. Damn, I'm jealous, always wanted to do something like this. Good job! Edit: You actually nailed it in a way, there are the foreground clues, of which we are all familiar, and then you put that backward speaking, barely audible backwards speak underneath. By that I mean, that was how it was done, in layers. Yes it's cliche in the PID world, but "like a glass onion". It all melds together beautifully, real care taken with this, again I'm impressed. Btw, I never heard about the Billy Shears of the year 1947 who claimed he would be resurrected in 1967?? Hmm, very strange!

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of that Derek Taylor slip where he admits it is a grave...And all of the background speaking voices are from various radio broadcasts that I have devoted to the PID clues...It took me an entire day to put this together and get it right, I just wanted an interesting way to compile all the clues together...Did you hear all of the clues? Most of the "music" was little clips and loops from Beatles songs, such as the organ sound being very processed from Blue Jay Way, and the percussion in one part is very screwed-around-with drums from the end of SFF...just something interesting that was very much inspired by these message boards! I'm glad you liked it. Also, if you are interested in hearing the entire radio broadcast where I got the Billy Shears ressurected, here is a link to the mp3...Just scroll down a bit and you'll get to it...it's actually the most entertaining of the several I've heard: www.ubu.com/outsiders/365/10-1.htmlThanks again. Let me know you hear anything interesting as I did take great care to find some interesting clues to hide in there.

I don't know if you had a chance to hear this, but this collection of course includes the Derek Taylor clip along with just about every broadcast concerning the "hoax" (as it was engineered to appear) from the 60's. www.jojoplace.org/Shoebox/PID_MissHim/I'm listening to the link you gave, very interesting. Runs down the clues quite efficiently. This person found it in a thrift shop and it found its way on the web, sychronicity.. Guess step one is to reverse your mix..

But, is that Tom Hanks saying, "Yeah I know" to the kid in the first clip? From which movie?......

Actually all of the speech used in the song are either clues from Beatles songs themselves or from two radio broadcasts related to the clues...What I think you are referring to is some talking from the beginning of Revolution 9, which is barely audible- I just boosted the decibels so it could be heard...It says something like "I know all about it George, I'm sorry...Do you forgive me?...Yes..." I'm sure someone on here knows more about it... I'm glad you like it...I actually tried to hide some stuff in there...I haven't listened to it backwards myself, that would probably be interesting...I plan to do some more, maybe a whole little EP or "album" of songs devoted to this, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know...I'm working on some more stuff...Also, if there are any clues that I didn't use, please do let me know...I've been interested in PID since I was younger and my dad played some of them for me, but I am still new to really looking into it, so I know there are a lot of little clues and snippets that I don't know about...I'd include as many as I can find into future "songs..."
I'll post when I finish the next one that I'm working on today...Please keep an eye on the site as well...Thanks for the support...I'd actually like to turn this into a whole little "project."

Hey Nicholas & welcome,
I think I'm probably the only person around here who's really into all sorts of avant garde stuff. (correct me if I'm wrong) Besides collecting & enjoyin' lots of that noizy stuff, I've also been a part of a few avant garde recording projects, so......... in my so-called expert opinion, This is wonderful stuff!
I've often thought about doin' something with all that stuff in the PID Miss Him box. There's so much there to work with! But I just don't have the time for stuff like that these days...... & that woulda took a lot of time.
I'm gonna have to add this to my fave 24 hrs worth of music in my jukebox that stays on random shuffle most of the time. When that shuffle's on, ya never know what's gonna be next, surf? girl groups stuff? heavy stuff? or avant garde stuff? Maybe The Beach Boys, maybe Negativland, ya just never know! Yep, this'll fit in the mix quite nicely....THANKS!

I finished another one...planning to do a "trio" of them...please listen to the new one and let me know what you think... After this I have pretty much exhausted my clues that I have, with only a few left "up my sleeve." If anyone has any suggestions, they are very welcome. With this "song," I tried to do it in a more "normal" way, with drums and whatnot...Using only musical clips from actual Beatles songs (paino riff, drums, etc.). It was difficult to get it all synced up, still not sure I got it right...Hope you like it, and please tell others so more people will visit the site. www.myspace.com/theelevatoresque
