Found where John sadi this about Paul: June 15, 1955...Enter Paul McCartney John Lennon: “I had a group, I was the singer and the leader; I met Paul and made a decision whether to--and he made a decision, too--have him in the group. Was it better to have a guy who was better than the people I had in, obviously, or not? To make the group stronger, or to let me be stronger? That decision was to let Paul in and make the group stronger. He was good. He also looked like Elvis.” from: features.absoluteelsewhere.net/ZeKingandI/ze_king_and_i.htmlAlso saw that comment in a Reader's Digest article about the Beatles recently. After a fashion, I suppose. Well, maybe a cardboard cut out of Elvis at an Elvis exibit at an Elvis convention. It's an Elvis world. Or is it Elwes? Is it an Elwes world? Cary Elwes, to be precise? No. Color my world. Color my world Barbra. It could be a "Barbra-Elvis world". But-----ONLY if they Cher.

I've got it, I've got it. I must tell SunKing I mean BeatlePaul. Clearly, from the above photos, the truth is made clear. Brian became Doris Day. Don Knotts became Brian. Sylvia became LuLu and Bo Derek. Sometimes David Bowie performs Sylvia; sometimes Joe Namath performs Sylvia. Peter Sellers became John Lennon; John became Marty Feldman AND Bono, Faul performs Brian/Viv/Paul/Neil/George Martin/DennyLaine/. Jane Asher performs Mary Travers in an oversized camisole, a hippie wig, some styrofoam padding, and a magaphone. Paul does Peter Noone in a boofy blonde wig and lifts and lip implants, and blue contact lenses. It really doesn't work, but Paul won't listen. When Faul, Paul, and Jane get together sometimes they do Peter, Paul, and Mary. George Harrison (when living) performed Derek Taylor on Tuesdays, and Elvis is still alive and doing Faul whenever Faul is doing Neil. And last of all, the part of Brian Wilson is being performed by Beau Bridges. Paul Anka and Paul Simon are the same person it turns out, and Sting is Phil Collins which is why there can never be a Sting/Phil duet live. If you have ever wanted that to happen, sorry, you will not get your wish. Ringo has been known to do a Sonny Bono, but he's never done Cher. You may think that unfair. But, it isn't. I'm catching on. I see the trail of evidence all these mag stars have left the world. It's a giant game that they are playing; performing for each other; doing everyone but themselves. And BP/SK has unlocked the mystery. He's followed a trail of pancake white, latex appliances, hair weave, and spirit gum all the way to its logical endpoint------the dressing room of the Imperial Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. lasvegas.citysearch.com/profile/7024118/?I'm getting a plane ticket. At least out there somebody will make sure that I'm dealing with a full deck. BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! BONSAI!!!!!!!

Brian became Doris Day. Don Knotts became Brian. Hey! Doris Day was a find attributed to some smart members over there, not BeatlePaul.

I know that this is kinda satire but i've still gotta say; He was saying JPM was the cute elvis style guy who potentially would rule the show, whereas John wanted to be the main man and tell the others what to do, until he realised the talent and potential fame that someone the likes of JPM would bring to his group.

We must be talking to the pre-bloated Elvis aren't we?
I always thought they were referring to the young JPM before the Beatles, probably still a Quarreymen member, where JPM sported a pompadour... IMO

We must be talking to the pre-bloated Elvis aren't we? I always thought they were referring to the young JPM before the Beatles, probably still a Quarreymen member, where JPM sported a pompadour... IMO Well now, that may be. About the Elvis "look", I see where Paul had sported a typically 'Elvis' pompadour style very early on, with the leather, they all wore leather. a la 1959-60? About the Elvis expressions: Elvis had mastered a pouting, sneering expression with lips puckering in a certain, trademark way. (Duh, as we all know, sorry.) How many 'up and coming' rock performers copied Elvis's "schtick" at some point? Many?........All? And, about the Elvis singing voice.....How many guys tried to sing like Elvis while in the shower? Maybe just every American or British male born between 1950 and 1970, and more. And, from some of those Decca recordings, it sure sounds like JPM was expert at doing Elvis flavored vocals. The accent is even convincingly American Southern, and the heavy, tremulous Elvis vibrato was there, too. Also, I hear the pushed, over-driven vocal attacks, slides (pitch), emotionally charged high-notes, the sharp fall-offs, and the subtle "cry" in the voice. The vocal in "Love of the Loved", the soft verses but not so much the louder choruses, he sings with a marked Roy Orbison inflection. I guess he had actively listened to plenty rock-a-billy!

"He also looked like Elvis.”
Undeniable proof, as a certain someone may say.
Why? Because JPM did and Faul never did!

Looky here: OK, it's not something you see real often, but the angle and perhaps his hair being swept back by the wind, it evokes Elvis a bit. Hmm, there's that name Denis O'Dell, remember that name from "You Know My Name"? Let's hear it for Denis O'Dell". Wonder who he was?
