Heh, read my mind Girl..
It bears repeating that Derek Taylor is on the record as stating that the WA poster pic is Paul fooling around, putting on the glasses as a joke. Which makes even less sense when you consider the fact that JPM did in fact wear glasses occasionally. He was vain about it, so you only see a few candid shots in the studio, were those a joke too?
I almost feel bad for the late Mr. Taylor, whenever he tried to spin things, he just made matters worse.

Yessir... yeah, I don't believe that for a minute... it would serve no purpose, either. Once again, the ears have it... not to mention the eyes, nose, face, chin, etc... JoJo, I just grabbed that photo from 60IF because I couldn't remember where to find it here, feel free to replace with the non-fading version if you like...

And, the continuity people were always chasin' round after us, cause they knew we liked to put in newspapers and such into the scenes with dates that told on us. If we had to do a reshoot of something, say three or four years later, you know, and these scenes always seem to have somebody holding up a newspaper or magazine in front of their face--and Help was made in the first half of 1965, you know, so we'd find papers from 68 or 69 and sneak them into the hands of the extras or whoever was in the set-up, you know.
If you could read the fine print in those scenes it'd bend you back on your *rse. Most of those got by the editors!
