Help us how? That JPM may have been a careless driver?
Just thinking it's odd, if he's driving fast, his hair doesn't look like it was blowing in the wind...unless he wasn't driving that fast....

They were driving around in an empty quarry. I don't really know why? It just seems like something they might on a day off. You know, zip around an old quarry and blow off a little steam... Maybe Richard Lester thought he might be able fit in some sort of car chase, or racing sequence. I suppose I could ask my cousin's hubby, as he's a real movie buff, he might be able dig up something...

Ah, yes! Of course! I could have had a V-8! Yes, that's a Triumph, my big brother had the Spitfire MG, of course that is what that is. I remember it from when I was a kid in the 60's. If I had only been sober less fatigued when I perused that thread, I would have made the immediate connection. Never let it be said that alcohol, toxins, or a poor diet caused me to miss a clue! Never let it be said. Never! [Even though it's true,,,,,,,,,,]

And the red car is a Sunbeam, if I'm not mistaken.

One hint could be that the driver's place is not the English one (on the right)
