Those are great new pictures of James Paul, Red Lion, thanks for posting. I was about to conclude that I have gotten "Acquired PID Photo Processing Deficit Disorder", or APIDPPDD, because I look and I see, (not on this thread but ocassionally elsewhere), Faul one minute and Paul the next [What's an "Api-dippy-diddy"victim, so called, to do? Get an eye exam?]
But these photos above look great and are the genuine JPM article.
Say, who's the babe in the horn-rimmed glasses in the last pic?

Doc, I thought I was the only one with that problem...but you gave it a name. That's why they call you Doc. BTW that "Babe" with the horn rimmed glasses is my Aunt Tillie. She's 85 now...are you still interested???

This does not look like a man who was wearing a diaper for his supposed "IBS" problems!

Where does the theory that he was ill come from? Or perhaps I should ask what evidence there is to support this? Is there a thread here?

It's on the FAQ on the TKIN forum. It may have been part of the 60If document, the last time I read it I couldn't get past laughing at the additions that was made with Don Knotts and Vivian Stanshell being part of the scenario.
Some doctor that is mentioned there said about it. But does that information change like the other material?
IMO I highly doubt if he had IBS, because he wouldn't have been able to travel or perform in concert. He allegedly contracted it in 1964-65 and that was in their "hey day". I don't know how he could have worked had he been confined to diapers or frequently changing his shorts.
I hate to use the term, but it may be one of those "sacred turds", crap that is added to the information either to confuse people or throw people off what really happened.

I've never bought into that myself.

60IF/TKIN is full of disinfo.
There are those photos from August 27th 1966 that show Paul without shirt/swimming underwater/playing pool/etc. He looks to be perfectly healthy there.

IMO that looks like the filming of "Help", when they were in the Bahamas. Whether that is Ringo or his body double, appears to have been in that red paint, when he was covered in red. Don't know if that is John on the left, or his "stunt" double. Don't know the female.
I hope nobody says it's Sylvie......
The only reason I say that is many people post a pic of a blonde, where one can't see her face and others assume it's Sylvie....

I thought the guy who you say may be Ringo was John!
Who knows?
No seriously, who knows?

You are right, it does look more like John's profile than Ringo's. Then who is the guy on the left? Maybe it's John's body double/stunt double....
God only knows.

The blond looks like Cynthia to me. Paul looks adorable in that photo. It's a great photo to compare his upper leg to Bill's. I bet you a dollar to a bag of donuts that Bill's upper leg is longer ! Look how Paul's pants are rolled up at the bottom. What length did jeans usually come in in 1965 ? Would someone who was 5ft. 11 in. tall have to roll them up so that they wouldn't drag on the floor ?

His leg looks more muscular than those skinny legs of Bill's... Never saw a tall person having to roll their pant legs UP....nope, if anything, their legs were too long and the pants were too short.... Good observation Lili!

A great photo of Mike & Paul! Yes, it is a very nice picture, for sure, and it seems to be an authentic one as well. One must always checks. I couldn't find any blue borders, or mis-matched pixelations, or evidence of recoloring or sloppy layering. It jives like it should. Which is so dissappointing because now you see I am rather addicted (to what now!?) to correctly identifying forgeries. Forgeries, forgeries, forgeries. It makes my hair stand up when I locate a reall, honest to goodness, authentic, forgery. And this is not one of them. Bring me more. I must have my forgeries.

The photo of Paul & Mike was taken around the same time ( maybe the same day ? ) that they did a photo op for Help. Paul was older in this photo than in any other photo that I have of him & Mike. I have other photos of Paul wearing that outfit. More to come...
