Call this the son of the 66-67 back and forth footage video. The gap in years is much greater here, the early material is from the '66 concert in Tokyo, and the later material is from the Wings years, probably in the '73-'75 range. Did this for my own entertainment, so hope it's likewise for you.. Yesterday

YesterdayI hear a lot of James Paul it seems it that.......it's up a half step in Gb from the '65 release......but no matter, there are capos. I think JP could sing in in Gb just he same...... Which recalls to me this wonderful song: "WANDERLUST": Light Out Wanderlust Head Us Out To Sea Captain Says There'll Be A Bust This One's Not For Me Take Us From The Dark Out Where We Can See Captain's Out To Make His Mark This One's Not For Me Light Out Wanderlust Help Us To Be Free Light Out Wanderlust Do It Just For Me Wanderlust Oh Where Did I Go Wrong My Love? What Petty Grime Was I Found Guilty Of? What Better Time To Find A Brand New Day? Oh - Wanderlust Away Light Out Wanderlust Help Us To Be Free Light Out Wanderlust Do It Just For Me Wanderlust Captain's Out To Make His Mark This One's Not To Be Light Out Wanderlust Head Us Out To Sea Captain Says There'll Be A Bust This One's Not For Me Counter Melody Oh Where Did I Go Wrong My Love? What Petty Grime Was I Found Guilty Of? What Better Time To Find A Brand New Day? Oh Wanderlust Away Dropping A Line Maybe This Time It's Wanderlust For Me. The counter melody is very beautiful classical counterpoint. I think it would have made a fitting duet for Sir Paul and JP.

That must have taken a lot of time and effort JoJo, thanks.
However, wouldn't the sixties version where JPM played it without the others over the recorded strings (much like the Faul version) have been a better choice comparitively.

Perhaps, but I was thinking in terms of getting two performances as close to each other time-wise as possible. The Tokyo concert is the latest one from 1966 I have. (pretty sure) And of course while there are plenty of performmances with JPM singing live, the only one that Bill did in the early Wings era that was also done by JPM live was "Yesterday". I guess he had no choice, everyone was expecting it, no? I may do another version with the strings though, takes some time, you are quite correct.
