Sorry about the silliness of my post

If you have dared to read my posts in the DOC thread, I just needed some comic relief.

The other day, a woman I had worked with for years had passed after having a massive stroke the day after her husband passed away. I didn't know of his passing until almost a week later and I didn't get to pay my respects to him and I didn't want to miss her viewing. It was just a sad past few weeks for me.

So if I got a bit carried away with the silliness on the I dreamed I met Doc thread, I apologize if it had gotten a bit too much and not on the serious note of Paul being replaced or other world events.

Sadly, a good friend of the midtown Atlanta cabaret community passed away last week from a heart attack. He was greatly loved. So, yea, it's been a bittersweet week for many of my "crew" as well.......

But life DOES go on, thank you Sir Paul, ob-la-di, ob-la-da, and at todays' memorial service for our friend, many of us half imagined "La"(his nickname) "floating" over us in spirit, whispering a comic running commentary in our spirit ears from his unique sense of humor, and maybe saying to himself, "Y'all--PLEASE don't get maudlin. We'll see each other again one day!"
