Here is a website with a general discussion of The Flower of Life: www.gnosticliberationfront.com/sacred_geometry.htmHere is an image of the Flower of Life transposed onto the earth, which is indicative of Ley Lines of energy as described by dowsers: Apparently the square, compass and "G" of Masonic symbolism is based on this pattern: And I think this image should draw our attention back to Jarv's geometry in the "Apple Starr" thread: www.spiraloflight.com/

It makes me wonder if that is why culturally we have demonized the pentagram While at the same time, idolizing the Star of David, as if this is the "complete" image of a star (man/woman?) Note the hearts where Lilies would be?

LILY - Smashing Pumpkins Lily, my one and only I can hardly wait till I see her Silly, I know I'm silly Cause I'm hanging in this tree In the hopes that she will catch a glimpse of meAnd thru her window shade I watch her shadow moveI wonder if she.........? Lily, my one and only Love is in my heart and in your eyes Will she or won't she want him No one knows for sure But an officer is knocking at my door And thru her window shade I watch her shadow move I wonder if she could only see me? And when I'm with her I feel fine If I could kiss her I wouldn't mind the time it took to find My lily, my one and only I can hardly wait till I see her Oh lily, I know you love me Cause as they're draggin me awayI swear I saw her raise her hand and wave (goodbye)
LILLY - Pink Martini
Lilly comes when you stop to call her Lilly runs when you look away Lilly leaves kisses on your collar Lilly, Lilly, Lilly, Lilly, stay!
Lilly comes when you stop to call her Lilly runs when you look away Lilly leaves kisses on your collar Lilly, Lilly, Lilly, Lilly, stay!
One day she passed him by A twinkle in her eye He said " she was meant for me!" But when he turned around He lost what he had found Oh where can his Lilly be?
Lilly comes when you stop to call her Lilly runs when you look away Lilly leaves kisses on your collar Lilly, Lilly, Lilly, Lilly, stay!
He searched the city streets He tempted her with treats But nobody stopped to taste them Some are in his pocket Some are in a locket He couldn't bring himself to waste them ....??
Ever since she's gone Some days he can't go on She runined for another Pressed up against the glass He prays that she will pass Now he's living with his mother
Stay, stay, stay, stay
PICTURES OF LILY - The Who
I used to wake up in the morning I used to feel so bad I got so sick of having sleepless nights I went and told my dad
He said, "Son now here's some little something" And stuck them on my wall And now my nights ain't quite so lonely In fact I, I don't feel bad at all
Pictures of Lily made my life so wonderful Pictures of Lily helped me sleep at night Pitcures of Lily solved my childhood problems Pictures of Lily helped me feel alright
Pictures of Lily Lily, oh Lily Lily, oh Lily Pictures of Lily
And then one day things weren't quite so fine I fell in love with Lily I asked my dad where Lily I could find He said, "Son, now don't be silly"
"She's been dead since 1929" Oh, how I cried that night If only I'd been born in Lily's time It would have been alright
Pictures of Lily made my life so wonderful Pictures of Lily helped me sleep at night
For me and Lily are together in my dreams And I ask you, "Hey mister, have you ever seen" "Pictures of Lily?"
LILY THE PINK - A Celtic Bard song
Here's a story, a little bit gory, A little bit happy, a little bit sad, Of Lily the Pink and her medicinal compound, And how it slowly drove her to the bad.
Meet Ebenezer, thought he was Julius Caesar. So they put him in a home. And then they gave him medicinal compound, And now he's Emporer of Rome.
We'll drink a drink a drink To Lily the pink the pink the pink The savior of [the savior of] the human race. She invented medicinal compound. Most efficacious in every case.
Meet Johnny Hammer had a t-t-terrible s-s-stammer. He could b-barely say a word. So they gave him medicinal compound, And now he's seen, but never heard.
And Freddie Clinger, the opera singer, Who could break glasses with his voice they said. So on his tonsils he rubbed medicinal compound, And now they break glasses over his head.
And Mr. Frears, who had sticky out ears. And it made him awful shy. So they gave him medicinal compound, And now he's learning how to fly.
And Uncle Paul, he was very small. He Was the shortest man in town. So on his body he rubbed medicinal compound, And now he's six foot, but it's underground.
Lily died and went up to heaven. Oh, the church bells they did ring. She took with her medicinal compound. Hark the herald angels sing.

Ok Iameye, are you hinting there is a connection to OPD? Pimbley's Dictionary of Heraldry Arms of Office - Those borne by holders of certain offices which designate that office. For instance, the ancestors of the Dukes of Ormond, being hereditary butlers of Ireland, bore three covered cups. Garter, the principal king-at-arms of England, bears "argent, a cross gules, on a chief azure a crown or, encircled with a garter of the order buckled and nowed betwen a lion of England and a lily of France." Seeded - Represented with seeds of a different tincture, such as the rose, lily, etc., when it is said to be seeded of that color. Wiki: Fleurs-de-lis feature prominently in the Crown Jewels of England and Scotland. In English heraldry, they are used in many different ways, and can be the cadency mark of the sixth son. Then I had to look up Cadency Marks, and the fleur is in fact the one that indicates a SIXTH SON. Different markings indicated birth order. www.rarebooks.nd.edu/digital/heraldry/cadency.htmlThe three petals of the heraldic design reflect a widespread association with the Holy Trinity, a tradition going back to 14th century France, added onto the earlier belief that they also represented faith, wisdom and chivalry. " Flower of light" symbolism has sometimes been understood from the archaic variant fleur-de-luce (see Latin lux, luc- = "light"), but the Oxford English Dictionary suggests this arose from the spelling, not from the etymology. If there was a connection with Paul to French Canada, then that would be significant, but so far I am still unaware of proof in that direction..?

Ok, but I must admit I'm getting frustrated with this topic.
There are just too many meanings, too many interpretations, too many different groups that have used this insignia, to be able to narrow it down to one specific meaning.
If there is anyone with a more specific idea for research, please help me focus on something useful. Otherwise, I think I am just filling this thread with a bunch of unrelated mythologies.

Speaking of which, I just read the MMT script yesterday to see what Ringo says right after that line.
The first time it is mentioned,
Ringo: Where is the bus?
Paul: Ten miles north on the Dewsbury Road. [the script linked from the IAAP Blog says, in both places, Jewsbury Road??]
Ringo: It's only ten miles away.
So are they saying that their location is south on Dewsbury Road? And if so, why?

dewsbury road, good one, anyway. Remember the stars and charts.... msnbc.com staff and news service reports updated 11:29 a.m. ET, Fri., Feb. 1, 2008 WASHINGTON - The Beatles are about to become radio stars in a whole new way.
NASA on Monday will broadcast the Beatles’ song “Across the Universe” across the galaxy to Polaris, the North Star.
This first-ever beaming of a radio song by the space agency directly into deep space is nostalgia-driven. It celebrates the 40th anniversary of the song, the 45th anniversary of NASA’s Deep Space Network, which communicates with its distant probes, and the 50th anniversary of NASA.and now this... As already noted, the Lakota believed souls traveled to immortality through a hole in the cup of the big dipper. This "portal" is the same hole that the previously mentioned maiden fell through when she came back to earth and gave birth to "Fallen Star." The pole star, Polaris, as the great guiding light of the seven stars in the heavens, may hold the same symbolism as that of Christ Jesus (the Way, Truth and Life) in relationship to the churches discussed in Revelation. Fallen Star, identified with Polaris, is the great guide and son of the god of Lakota legend. He is comparable to Jesus Christ of the Christian faith.
Lakota legend seems to parallel the Book of Revelation to a significant degree. Fallenstar fights the bear who receives his power from the Dragon: "…[the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority," (Rev 13:2). The messiah of Lakota Sioux legend overcame this symbol of evil just as Jesus is prophesied to be victorious over the Beast of Revelation.
The astrological signs in the constellations and the stars often appear to foretell or are in association with events on earth; they seem to occur in parallel fashion. Lakota Sioux Indian legend proclaims, "The earth mirrors the stars ; what happens in one place occurs in the other. New Testament theology is no exception: The stars are a record of God's work in the heavens as well as on earth; they stand in mute testimony regarding what He has done in the past as well as what He is going to accomplish in the future.
Examination of the spiritual beliefs of the ancient Lakota Sioux Indians yields many obscure, yet compelling details. They believed that the souls of men came from and returned to the stars through a portal that was in the center of the cup of the Big Dipper . Departed souls traveled along a "river in the sky" , also known to the Lakota Sioux as the Trail of Spirits. This same pathway is known to modern man as the Milky Way. Disembodied souls take this route to the place where the spirits of their grandfathers, Wonia , reside. The legend goes on to describe celestial pathways very reminiscent of what contemporary astronomers refer to as "worm holes". Such paths are hypothesized as being possible channels for rapid space travel , allowing the distance of light years to be traversed in mere seconds. The sky river, Trail of Spirits or Milky Way provided a bidirectional pathway for the souls of the Lakota dead to be transported from mortality to immortality or in the opposite direction, to a new birth. For the Indians, the Black Hills, in North Dakota, were a mirror image of the heavenly Trail of Spirits.lots more fallenstar.us/dragon_star/dragon_star.html

This plays into the Rocky Raccoon angle AND the Roger Waters, RADIO K.A.O.S. angle that I mentioned in the Emitt Rhodes thread:
Roger Waters, "SUNSET STRIP" "I like staying with my Uncle Dave And I like playing with his great dane But I don't fit I feel alien and strange Kinda outa range I like riding in my Uncle's car Down to the beach where the pretty girls all parade And movie stars and paparazzi play The Charles Atlas kicking sand in the face game And I sit in the canyon with my back to the sea There's a blood red dragon on a field of green Calling me back Back to the Black Hills againOoh, ooh Billy come homeBilly is searching for his native landFlicking through the stations with the dial in his head Picking up (background: static) And a male voice choir on the short wave band Billy taps out Jim's number on the phone Sits shaking as he waits for Jim's answering tone Come on my friend Speak to me please The land of my fathers is calling to meAnd I sit in the canyon with my back to the sea There's a blood red dragon on a field of green Calling me back Back to the Black Hills againOoh, ooh Billy come home"For those who've never heard the RADIO K.A.O.S. album, it's set up as a narrative between a radio station DJ (Jim) and "Billy", who's wheelchair bound and communicates through a computer like Stephen Hawking (via Radio Waves). Between the songs SUNSET STRIP and HOME, we have this really odd exchange between the DJ (Jim), and two callers. They're talking about FISH, but more specifically, they're talking about SOLE, and the fact that "Sole has no eyes"
And again, it's just a REALLY ODD bit to include unless it MEANS SOMETHING. Here's a transcript: [Californian Weirdo:] "I don't like fish." [Jim:] "You are listening to KAOS here in Los Angeles." [Californian Weirdo:] "I don't like fish." [Jim:] "Yes, we've established that. Ah! Do you have a request?" [Californian Weirdo:] "Shell fish Guppy Salmon Shrimp And crab And lobster Flounder I hate fish But I think most of all I hate fresh fish Like trout I hate fresh trout My least-hated, favourite fish would be sole That way you don't have to see the eyes Sole has no eyes."[Jim:] "Oh no!" [Woman:] "I'd like to be home with my monkey and my dog." [Jim:] "Thankyou." [Woman:] "I'd like to be home with my monkey and my dog I'd like to be home with my monkey and my dog I'd like to be home with my monkey and my dog I'd like to be home with my monkey..." [Jim:] "I don't care Shut up Play the record." You can listen to the whole thing here, including the SOLE outro:

Did someone say lobster?
this is why I bring it up:
" As every skilled ocean navigator, either modern or ancient, knows/knew, the northern tip of the Celestial Pole, which usually is located on the posited Dome of Heaven by a Pole Star during the Precession of the Equinoxes, and which currently is located by the North Star known as "Polaris", lies at 23.4 degrees from the Pole of the Ecliptic, which Ecliptic Pole always lies directly overhead at a point certain in the Constellation Draconis. Which means that the Celestial Pole always points at 66.6 degrees North Latitude of Planet Earth. The mathematics is of a primary-school level: The 90 degrees between the Pole of the Ecliptic and the Circle of the Ecliptic, minus the 23.4 degrees of the Celestial Pole, defines latitude 66.6 North as a circle around our more-or-less round Planet Earth. (Simply put: 90 minus 23.4 equals 66.6.) "
and for jarv, same source:
" "Greille," pronounced "Grail," is Irish-Gaelic for a pattern of lines as in a grill, grille, gridiron, lattice, or other matrix. (Albeit that the same spelling is pronounced "Gree-ya" in modern French, which is further bait to lead Christian literature students away from historical realities.) A Christian "authority" on the Grail literature recently has written that the Grail never existed in reality, and first existed only in the poetic musings of a Medieval Frenchman

I'm starting to lose track - but didn't you previously connect the "grail" lobster tail with the Djed pillar? I wonder what they really did with those... www.pyramidofman.com/Djed/Osiris as The Ram so I did..... ;D PargodThe supernal curtain that separates God from the rest of heaven. katapeÑtasma www.studylight.org/lex/grk/view.cgi?number=2665a veil spread out, a curtainthe name given to the two curtains in the temple at Jerusalem, one of them at the entrance to the temple separated the Holy Place from the outer court, the other veiled the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place Those persons who are interested in ancient science will see images within this pattern of lines which define the four classical vaults and the classical dome set upon pendentives that are architectural and engineering features of the sacred geometry of temple, synagogue, and cathedral construction. They also will see within this line pattern a map of the ancient sun-centered universe of the third millennium BCE. And they will see within this line pattern the ancient deity symbol, known as the "Shekinah," or the "name of God," before which King David danced, in use at Stonehenge, thousands of years before King David, to define the rising and setting directions of the sun and moon during each solar year.
Greek Christians referred to this line pattern as the Katapetasma. Ancient Hebrews called it the "Pargod" or "Bar Goda ." Continental and insular Celts called it the Greille, which is a word for "grill" in the Irish-Gaelic and Old-French languages. The laws of mathematical probability indicate that the Holy Grail (i.e., holy grill) has been rediscovered.www.jesussilenced.com/I just think its interesting that it's possible the grail is associated eith a defined matrix of lines, and is the net, perhaps? the grid iron IS the grail? because that separates two worlds, two rabbit holes..

Michael Tsarion slide-show: www.scribd.com/doc/7597946/Coronation-of-the-queenCoronation of the Queen of England The Cap of Maintenance, aka King Edward's Crown Featuring Maltese Crosses and Fleur du Li, the crown surrounds the so-called "Cap of Maintenance." The word "maintain" means to perpetuate or keep i order until some other event occurs, or until the arrival of a sovereign of greater rank. Interestingly, the word "entertain" also connotes the same idea, to entertain in the interim, before the main event occurs. But in whose name or place does the Queen and her court preside and maintain the state as stewards of caretakers? Phoenician images showing the raised hand that was later incorporated into the design for the flag of Northern Ireland. Allegedly, the raised red hand was a symbol of the O'Neill clan. In fact, it long predates the time of the Gaelic conquest of Ireland. [there is an awesome image in the slideshow of a Phoenecian carving showing the raised-hand motif, but I can't copy it here] Procession: Kabalistic imagery is also used during the coronation ceremony. The Queen is positioned at the center of 6 maidens (or ladies in waiting). The form of the procession is reminiscent of the Kabalistic Tree of Life. The procession then passes through the second portal into the church toward the alter. The company pass along a blue carpet symbolizing water - The River of Live, time or knowledge, etc. Interestingly, the word Hebrew means "Men of the River."[tee hee The brings to mind another Heath Ledger tattoo that said "Old Man River" ] The Lion (Dragon/Serpent) of the Hapsburg Dynasty to whom the Queen is related. The Windsors are also related to the Bowes Lyon, Battenberg (Mounbatten), Saxe Cobur-Gotha, Hanoverian (House of ORANGE), Savoy, Angevin, Capetian, and Guelph (Black Venetian) dynasties. The symbol of the blue garter, as well as red cross symbol, referred to as St. George's Cross, belong to the Egyptian god Set. He was worshiped by the Hyksos Pharaohs who, during and after the time of Akhenaton, became the Atonists. The Atonists conquered Britain approximately 600 years BC. This is the reason why Egyptian symbolism appears on so much British and European heraldry. The Queen's Throne: [Note the rectangular benben stone inserted under the seat] Ok, this post includes Set, Fleur de Lis, and the benben stone from the 1882 video, but I posted it here. Readers are required to manually collate their own thoughts ;D

It appears there are different crowns for different occasions. This is King Edward III's crown that she wore when coronated. Then there is another smaller pointier one that she wears for other events. She probably has a special crown for bathroom duties that comes with its own gold toilet paper or something
