I just love this old photo so I thought I'd post it. This is currently my holiday wallpaper.... what a weird old pic. It's my adopted daughter & probably her real dad taken in 80 or 81..... but what's up with the unusual light formation? A doorway to the 4th dimension? A poltergeist? Who knows.....! ;D Notice the white area below the doorway to the 4th dimension is a tear in the photo, but the smaller white area on Santa is actually a torn santa suit.... that must be Poverty-Santa!

If that is a Polaroid picture, the developing chemicals that are on the photo might have done that. I've seen similar "portals" in blue and green. The picture has a nice feel to it, though. Happy, cheery.

Speaking of the North Pole....

When I got into work this morning, the pipes were frozen in spite of the fact that we run heaters and have them wrapped. I crawled 20 feet through a two foot tall tunnel and tried to put a heater under the bathroom floor, but the flash light decided to give out just about then, and I was having a bit of Santa Claustrophobia, so I stuck the heater in the crawl space and turned tail. Ho Ho Ho! Temp tonight is supposed to be 9. Farenheit. (-12.7 Celcius) (I won't even get into wind chill.) I think maybe I'll move to Hawaii!
