Plus, there are huge Paul is dead threads at the Above Top Secret I know, I've seen PID threads there before but they disappear very quickly. However, this one, thanks in no small part to faulconandsnowjob amongst others, just keeps on going and always seems to be in the most recent posts section. www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread195888/pg1

Well, you know that's not true.
And might I add that that forum has grown tremendously over the last year.

Um, don't mean to be a downer, but what does this prove? The amount of people that believe in something doesn't change reality. Maccafunhouse has craploads of pics that are pretty convincing, and we've got a bunch of people changing the story when they hear one abstract lyric, and posting huge confusing stories that link the Beatles with long dead poets that doesn't really do anything except confuse us.

To show that it's not a subject that only a few, crazy people are interested in. I disagree. What do you mean? What is your viewpoint, PIA or PID/PWR? I believe Paul may have been replaced. I can't really explain it, but I just don't see the same guy in the interviews/pics after 1966. Still, the point I'm trying to make is that we ought to be focusing on proving this with empirical evidence, not crap like "OK SUN KING IS A SONG BY THE BEATLES SO THAT MEANS THE LONG DEAD KING OF FRANCE MADE A DEAL WITH THE TEMPLARS OR SOMETHING AND ALESITER CROWLER IS PAULS REAL DAD AND JOHN IS SITLL ALIVE" all based off of one song lyric or album cover detail someone saw. Also, numbers don't really make a difference was what I was saying. I thought the point of this topic was that more people = truth, but you said it's not, so just nevermind that.

Maccafunhouse is a small community of Beatles fans that got started by people who have been around from the beginning our 60IF world - it's not a research oriented forum like NIR. So the amount of members has nothing to do with who's winning. Who's winning this debate is in the eye of the beholder.
I bet you an "Elvis is Alive" forum would get more members than a "Nope, Elvis is Dead" forum. Why? Because "Elvis is Dead" is already the norm! There would be almost nothing to discuss. Does that mean "Elvis is Alive" is winning? Of course not. Hate to burst your bubble.

Point taken, but sometimes song lyrics are all we have in certain instances. That's why there's so much left open as to what happened to Paul in 1966.
