----was a television show in around 1967 on NBC starring Hope Lange and Edward Mulhair. According to this, www.daltai.com/proverbs/weeks/week128.htmMuir, or Muire, is the name for the Mother Mary. The Ghost can be the Holy Ghost. Was that series code for "Mother Mary and the Holy Ghost?" Were there Catholic luminaries tucked away behind the creation of this series? A silly sounding idea I know. Thought I would share.

I loved that show! The sixties were a magical time for TVYeah man, me too. I found every episode from file sharing a while back.. Had a marathon, heh. "Magic" was a theme of a lot of shows in the 60's, let's see, I Dream of Jeanie, The Nanny and the Professor, and of course Bewitched with the replacement Darrin.

I liked the rock and roll version much better. And in real life, as opposed to TV Land whimsy, the kids -- who were no doubt in the process of growing up on Beatles music -- also would have liked the rock and roll version better. This guy's "own" music was bo-o-r-r-r-r-r-ing!

I don't know so much about that-- though he did spend a lot of time down on his knees shoutin' Halleluyah.
