yes, Deva, Happy Birthday! How old are you NOW? 10 miles North? That's a very good place to be for a Birth Day! Deva: *deiwos, originally an adjective meaning "celestial" or "shining", which is a PIE (not synchronic Sanskrit) vrddhi derivative from the root *diw meaning "to shine", especially as the day-lit sky. The feminine form of PIE *deiwos is PIE *deiwih , which descends into Indic languages as devi, in that context meaning "goddess". I hope you don't miss the bus !

B, I thought about going to a funeral for my birthday... Ultimately, I just decided to got to a fast-casual taco place and have their chicken bowl. Then somebody had given me free movie tickets, so I went to see The Hobbit.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the 1st part of a trilogy. The movie sticks close to the book, so that's good. There's moments of humor and charm, great action/chase seequences, the cinematography is beautiful--scenes of nature are breathtaking. If you like Lord of the Rings, you'd like this.
