Hey very cool.... I'm a HUGE Kinks fan. A while back I bought the Pye Album Collection box... basically the 1st 10 albums together in a box.. Great great stuff.
The only thing better would be a Kinks reunion show complete with drunken onstage fights with his brother Dave. ;D

He was AWESOME. He's playing Dallas on March 17th (St. Patty's Day), eyesbleed. There was an opening act called "88" which, later in the show, served as his back up band. They were talented, but the lead singer looked like Al Franken, and their music was written in a way that - imo - always missed the punch where it should have hit, for lack of a better way of putting it, but then there was Ray and his Dave "stand in" guy, and they were incredible! He still has the energy of a 30 year old, and was entertaining; a great mimic as he tells his tales. And they did so many of the hits with the audience singing along.
