I know I read it just a few months ago. And in all 5 pages of this thread, I'm surprised nobody noticed that the image on the cover is flipped.

I've only just seen this thread, though it is not new and find it chilling with the rope around John's neck and the rope draped on George's knees resembles Baphomet more than a ram. Note "Paul" in particular, his face is not "cute".

Not sure what you mean by that, however, that is one of the early "Pauls" and he is not cute like the later version (the one all the girls fancied)...why would there need to be a rope around John's neck?

Certainly a very strange picture, clearly totally contrived with the piece of rope placed in that pattern. Might as well ask, "Why the need for a rope in the photograph?" What purpose did it serve? Much symbolism in Beatles album covers I would aver.
Regarding Paul being "cute"; did anyone really fancy "Paul" after 1966 when his personality changed. You are right, it is not all about facial beauty.
