Last nights repeat showing of Jimmy Fallon's late night show--the man playing the JPM role---who was HE ? Fallon is listed as 5' 10". The JPM portrayer was 3-4 inches shorter than Fallon. The guy playing the role in the early 90's who I saw at Giants Stadium was over 6' tall. He played the crap out of over 20 Beatles songs and had us all under his spell for that night.

I wanted to mention that Fallon was bantering with the portrayist, back and forth, when he asked 'you ARE Paul McCartney, right ?" and as soon as the question--it was only a part of a question, not the whole question--came out of his mouth there was a very subtle and lightning fast nervous spasm on the face of the portrayist. His eyes moved so quickly back and forth that you almost couldn't detect his momentary shock at hearing Fallon ask him that. Also, his right index finger shot up to the side of his neck like he was going to pull his tight collar away from his neck to get some air, like you would when you're animatedly going "pheww, close call" but stopped short of actually pulling or loosening the collar with the finger because he realized he was on camera. It was a very very subtle thing, almost invisible. If anyone can post the segment in video format, you'll see what I saw if you can focus closely. You have to 'look fast' to see it.

Similar reactions in the Letterman interview shown by Iamaphoney.
