OMG it's coming down and sticking. Some of it is sleet; a lot of it is beautiful flaky snow and there is 4-6 inches all over town. I just drove home from midtown; it's everywhere and it's great. Nice to have a snow day.

Welcome to the land of cold and snow...now you know how we feel up north...
Since you don't have a "Gulf Stream" anymore, you don't have the warm weather you normally had.
Check out any weather forecast...what happened to the GULF Stream? I used to hear about it in weather reports, I only hear about Arctic streams coming through Canada...

Yep, it's not gotten above freezing more than 2 or 3 degrees and only a couple of hours in mid afternoon. The snow/slushie/white cold stuff is still in every yard and on the backstreets. It snowed 6 days ago!!!!! Crazy. Atlanta weather---can't predict it.

If it's any comfort Doc, we just got almost a foot up here, and temp wise - it got down to I believe 7 degrees F earlier. (-14 C) If it makes anyone in those temps feel better that's about 260 Kelvin.
Off to the beach.

Whoa, hold your seahorses, did someone just say, "Gulf Stream"? Holy mackeral, some might think this guy is on a fishing expedition--holding out a red herring, so to speak; personnally, I think it's a whale of a tale! www.youtube.com/watch?v=

It snowed in San Antonio and every other part of Texas--all the way down to Padre Island. Holy merde! It rained here; it wasn't too bad, just nasty. Tomorrow is to be sunny and 57 degrees Fahrenheit. Not bad for early February. How odd! Thanks for the info!
