Well not all of us are there Puffin. I in fact got a lot of comedy mileage out of it the last week or so. I know JoJo. I'm not THAT much of a bigot... sorry it sounded that way. Of course America has some of sharpest and most cynical minds in the world (if you follow some of my posts you'll notice I'm a big Dylan fan, a big South-Park fan....) But there is a clear feeling that, if you took all the idiots in America you could fill a large European country....all these attempts to take the Bible in a VERY literal way - not taking into account it was NOT written in English. You can't take something that is a translation of translation in a literal way. It's like I would quote from the Russian version of Shakespeare. Crazy or idiotic? The funny people of America are ALL anti-social, in a way. Because the society itself is based on rotten values: "Tis the gift to be simple"As long as you keep telling people that "It's a gift to be simple" - you are creating a nation of idiots. It doesn't mean there are ONLY idiots - it means that is the dominant voice. The dominant voice in the US is (sadly) NOT South Park

What about all the money I spent?
My bank account is unlimited. Take what ever you want. There's plenty in there.
Does that make me an idiot too? or an idiot savant?
Savant (from the French savoir "knowing") Iameye, contrary to what you might think, I know absolutely ZERO about you. If you would like to remedy that - I'm all ears. All I know, in the context of THIS particular thread, is that you implied that Harold Camping was right in his predictions and that my allusions to "The Great Dissapointment" of 1844 were out of place. I would say that, at this point, a bit of humbleness might be in order. And somehow, I suspect that "limitless bank account" of yours is also an allusion to something else - eternal love of Jesus/Mary/The White Goddess/etc. There's a club for that too, you know. Again, if I misjudge you - just let me know. I'll be happy to be proven wrong. till then:

No, I'm specifically talking about MY personal bank account in that instance. Let's walk together and review, shall we? Well she's walking through the clouds With a circus mind that's running round
Butterflies and zebras And moonbeams and fairy tales That's all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.
The title of the thread is a question, right? May I? blowing up balloons on a windy day desolate dunes with a lot to say counting the bars on an iron cage playing guitar on an empty stage what can it mean? a bit of humbleness might be in order? dude, we wouldn't be here NOW if that wasn't the first order. I learned it in a weekend

Just picture her in a white suit now That's why she crossed to the other side. can it be a dress? yes, I would like that very much So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

Another post of mine from TKIN, for those of you who do not haunt that board. (I'm moving my business to this board heh). I have always been bothered by the layout of the word CLUB on the Sgt Pepper drumskin. There is too much space between the L and the U, almost like CL UB. If you draw a straight line down the cor anglais that McCartney is holding, it slices the B in half, making "CLUB" say "CLUE 3." This only happens because of the extra space in the word. If you were to tighten up the extra space in the word then the line would completely miss the B. Notice that the cor anglais (core angle?) points directly through the exact center of the album cover. That can't be an accident. CLUE 3: Mustard, Knife, Ballroom -j Stu Die: LIE Bury: Bill LIE Yard: Hall: Conservative Tory: Mrs. White: Miss Scarlet: Candlestick: Rope: Pipe: (Crescent) Wench: Revolver: Mr. Green (he's young): Pee-cock (serpentine fuckysucky water pipe): or if you prefer... Mrs. Peacock (painted by Beardsley): Cluedo: Clouseau: It's beyond filthy ludicrous, it's Ludo Christ! -j P.S. The Pink Panther is a loose diamond.

"In what would be one of the most bizarre events in rock history, the band's manager, Clifford Davis, claimed that he owned the name Fleetwood Mac and put out a "fake Mac". Nobody in the "fake Mac" was ever officially in the real band, although some of them later acted as Danny Kirwan's studio band. Fans were told that Bob Welch and John McVie had quit the group, and that Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie would be joining the band at a later date, after getting some rest"
