The night is gone, The time has come To find a new day has begun,
An' it promises to stay To soothe the pain of wasted years An' kiss away the bitter tears A love to light the way
And from the darkness Comes a smile, That reaches out for many miles, Touching everyone. ;D So don't you worry, You can ease your mind 'Cause we'll be dancing At the END of time! cha cha cha

Summary 'Not only do all the people, objects and events in the story seem to have symbolic meanings, but the plot and chronology of the story seem to portray the history, fall, and plan unfolding in the world as well. We all start out in an imaginary innocent world oblivious to the real picture of what is going on here, unless by faith, in Christ, who is the only Door =(The wardrobe) we enter into and are illuminated, revealing the kingdom of God. The best way to enter is as Lucy does in simple childlike faith, however, most enter kicking and resisting all the way, as Edmund, failing continually until the end when we meet Christ. Like the much theologically deeper "Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan, not only do the Chronicles of Narnia help us understand individual struggles and events relative to the spiritual kingdom, but they give us an overview of history including apocalyptic events. The "Lion the witch and the wardrobe", after simply setting the stage, quickly moves to the central event of human history- the crucifixion of Jesus"can we go home NOW?

Everybody must come HOME! That house may have many mansions, but there are only Two Doors and they're both Closed. Yellow back-stabber. -j what? "Edmund = Man He is tempted by the White Witch, her Turkish Delights and the promise of power. He represents all mankind who has betrayed Christ from birth, and who Jesus died for on the cross. Man is led away by the enticements of this world and becomes selfish and fallen from the standards of Christ. Because of his betrayal, he has also been compared to Judas of the New Testament and Adam in the Garden of Eden. • Lucy, the faithful youngest child, is the strongest believer in Aslan. I believe she most closely resembles and represents children in general, and their simple innocent faith- which we should all have. Susan and Lucy also represent the two Marys who beheld Christ's death and came to His tomb early in the morning. Mr. Tumnus, the Faun = Judas, who at first betrays Aslan and wants to kidnap Lucy, until Aslan appears out of the fire and he repents, however loses his life as a result, and is also similar to the "Doubting THOMAS" of the gospels. However, Mr Tumnus could also signify the apostle Paul, who first worked against Christianity, and then became a Christian. • The Stone Table is primarily the Narnian equivalent to the cross Jesus was crucified on, however it goes beyond this and resembles strongly the end of the "Law" also, or the stone tablets, and the breaking of the temple curtain at Christ's death, ( which brought salvation by grace through faith as opposed to the keeping of the old "Law" or what was also referred to in the story as the "Deep Magic" that satan does not fully understand. Lucy's Healing Potion = Christ's blood, which heals our infirmities" You should be so brave, Jarv. Really. I've Been Living In Style Unaccustomed As I Am To The Luxury Life. I've Been Hitting The Town And It Didn't Hit Back. I've Been Doing The Rounds Unaccustomed As I Am To The Time On My Hands. Now I Don't Have To Tell Anybody When I'm Gonna Get Back.

Another post of mine from TKIN, for those of you who do not haunt that board. (I'm moving my business to this board heh). I have always been bothered by the layout of the word CLUB on the Sgt Pepper drumskin. There is too much space between the L and the U, almost like CL UB. If you draw a straight line down the cor anglais that McCartney is holding, it slices the B in half, making "CLUB" say "CLUE 3." This only happens because of the extra space in the word. If you were to tighten up the extra space in the word then the line would completely miss the B. Notice that the cor anglais (core angle?) points directly through the exact center of the album cover. That can't be an accident. CLUE 3: Mustard, Knife, Ballroom -j

What about all the money I spent? My bank account is unlimited. Take what ever you want. There's plenty in there. Does that make me an idiot too? or an idiot savant? Savant (from the French savoir "knowing") either way, it's free. Well she's walking through the clouds With a circus mind that's running round
Butterflies and zebras And moonbeams and fairy tales That's all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.

Well not all of us are there Puffin. I in fact got a lot of comedy mileage out of it the last week or so. Of course the people who got conned out of their life savings is not all that funny. What I don't understand is if you are following the words in the bible that closely, why one doesn't also take heed of even the angels in heaven not "knowing the date and time"?
